In America you don't want to be using that word, in some parts of the world it is a dish, for example,
Puto is a Filipino steamed rice cake...........

This is a myth about Private School, that people who go to Private Schools are better educated, smarter, and nicer. Not always the case, remember Osama Bin Laden, he went to University and got a degree, if you look at his curriculum you would be impressed. Some people are willing to go through school, spend a ton of money and get degrees, to use it for evil purposes. Some parents mistakenly put their children in private school thinking their kids will turn out better, WELL they sure got something coming  It's not always the case, it's still a school, it's not a convent  if you want them to be saints, send them to nun schools (there is a catch, they must live there, and join a convent upon graduation) :P

GREAT topic indeed - now where do I bloody begin ? :D

I've done far more than my share of helping, thanks to my help a few people good GOOD earnings and amazing opportunities working for another company, and my reward, I get screwed over by all of them and I lose the earning opportunity, whilst they continue earning on my hard work.

Time to take of oneself from now on - some of these people I had helped join a team and a good earning opportunity were known members in the CS era that I never expected to screw me over. Lesson in life, be careful who you trust, and who you help.

I used to donate regularly to a good cause and received a circle of friends certificate, until the organisation I donated to, to which I also used their services, screwed me over and became extremely arrogant and unhelpful, to which I stopped all do nations.....

As far as charities ? The near 99%+ are scams, and the legit ones, law here only requires a company to use 1% of its income for the good cause, so in other words it is useless.

So I prefer helping DIRECTLY whenever possible and very selective, and now it is think of me first, it used to be others first, but I paid the stiff f*cking price. This is like politics, in America, with current President it is "Let's throw billions of money to help everyone except our own crumbling nation, pile our debt and make America poor and miserable" as a result, Fitch downgrades the credit rating, a 2nd credit rating decline....... I don't agree with every one of Trump's decision, but he sure ******mned knows to help his own first, in dire needs and not spend money you don't have and can never repay in a billion years.

So yeah - helping others comes with a stiff price, you have to be very selective now in 2023 - I've learned that sometimes you help people down in the dumps, when they get back and way up there doing so good, and YOU, the helper, one day need THEIR f*cking help, they look the other way as if you never existed - and the people you thought were your good friends turn up to be evil sacks of shite.

Once upon a time GPT sites paid once every month, and today they pay anywhere from instantly to up to 10 business days, here on this site the slogan is (for some) "You earn nothing, we still pay fast!"

Payments can typically take UP TO 10 business days, and could take longer under high volume as experienced sometime in the past - Personally and this is even from the days of CS, I always cashed out once a month, and here sine I cannot cashout $0, it's usually one cashout maybe every few months, I earn here in ONE year what I used to earn in 1 bloody month.

My way to say earning is low or high

If I earn 0.00 I say it is low
If I earn 10.00 I say it is low
If I earn 1000.00 I say it is low
If I earn UNLIMITED I say it is low

Let's see, $1000.00 x 30 that's $30k a month, now that's not bad you must admit, even in Australian dollars
Nowadays if you can earn even half that money a month without scamming, misleading and robbing people, it is amazing. The only way to make such earnings nowadays is 1) Be a scammer 2) Run a legit company 3) Have an amazing talent and do TikTok or YouTube or Twitch, and no, don't say politics, because that falls under scam, even if legal

Here it is the same, it's all about money - though it depends where you work here, a teacher's salary is not all that great, but they have insurance, perks and pension plans. The fact is, there are much better and higher paid jobs, being a teacher here is the worst possible job if you fancy working facing students that are for the most part disruptive, violent, dangerous, hopeless, etc. it's a tough job being a teacher in a public (or even private) school - teachers are just as bad as the students they teach some are pot heads literally no wonder students find their course boring AF, but make the course interesting and build a good relation with your students, and you will get their attention. If you don't like your job or can't handle students, don't teach - some people are natural and can relate, some people are not meant for public work.

Go on YouTube and you will see those videos of teachers with mental breakdowns whilst they teach, some teachers yelling at students, cussing them out, making racist and homophobic comments, etc.

Let's just say that if you have children in America, you want to keep them away from public schools as much as possible and to some extent even private ones - they would be better off homeschooled and supervised. and you teach them with real life experience, if kids are taught early what real life is, they will be ready when comes time to work, not the boring outdated textbook shit they teach nowadays that will be forgotten and not useful to most people.

It depends on what level of Chemistry you study - if you study Chemistry in high school it is not the same as if you study it in College (University), as far as math, same, some teachers are complete and utter cocks, they clearly don't like their jobs and it shows, they are frustrated - it's one thing to be strict, and another to be a semi lob-on and be an all around BAD teacher. There are clever and creative ways to teach difficult topics - In medicine for example, I can give you an entire course on how on the heart and interpreting ECGs, a topic that you would consumer very difficult, but can make it extremely easy for you to understand - SAME for math, geography, computer science, any topic can be made fun and easy to learn, it depends on HOW it is taught - if you simply go by the text books, forget it, you won't get any interest, but some teachers find ways to explain things differently to how it is explained in textbooks without affecting the integrity of the course.
Same for computer science, you can have teachers that are purely textbook, and the topic might seem difficult and overwhelming for someone with 0 experience in computers - BUT it can be really fun and easy to learn for someone who can explain it in simple terms, with easy examples in a language people can understand, for example how to convert decimal numbers to binary and binary to decimal, this can be taught in 5 minutes, easily, there are lot of seemingly complex things that can be taught within minutes - the problem is the messed up education system relying on badly written textbooks.

No Tasman1, your best bet is to move to China or North Korea, well China especially it will be the TOP world economy very soon - Fitch has downgraded America's credit rating once more - you can thank Joe Biden and past Democratic Presidents for that - now watch the markets tumble - So you have a choice, China, North Korea, France, yeah actually so I heard, cost of living in France is actually less expensive than in Canada and US, of course from a consumer perspective they pay crap ton of taxes, but they have affordable health care, you won't get that level of health care in the other hell holes. Mr. Xi Jinping or Kim Jung Un will greet you with open arms, just say the word  Remember that docuseries the fall of the west and rise of Asia, well it's happening - as far as Europe, thanks to the generous and uncontrolled immigration policies, they have sunk like Titanic - economies are crumbling and you cannot feel safe in day light, where crimes have skyrocketed over the years, many attributed to terrorism alone. So you China it is, and besides since you agree pretty much with Xi and Kim's regime, it would be a nice fit :D

Still top because you are earning above average, otherwise you would think the opposite, it's one of the worst GPTs with worst earnings I have seen by far in all my time of doing surveys online. They decided to do some changes during pandemic, that caused a large number of people to stop earning, Canada is doing so poorly here, why is that, it was never this way before here.

My total earnings for July: $9.53
this is the low of lows, most days now here is $0.00, and it's NOT the lack of surveys, there's plenty more survey invites, but the majority of them, more than 99.99% are insulting, degrading and unacceptably LOW paid < 40 cents, 30 minutes, etc, and those that are higher paid, all instant DQ, closed surveys, off quota, etc, all garbage, and this situation has continued throughout the entire f*cking summer.
it seems to be stuck this way now for many. This place now caters into favouritism and selected countries in the international market - leaving US, Canada and others dry - quite insulting and infuriating - there was the bullshit excuse oh you do surveys elsewhere, well no I stopped doing surveys elsewhere a very long time ago, it didn't change bloody anythi8ng - and when I started doing surveys elsewhere the situation was already bad here for a long bloody time.

Since this g**damned pandemic started, things have skydived here abruptly, when it is to a point where a Tier 1 country cannot even earn the f*cking minimum to withdraw in one damn month, there is only one thing to do - STOP. There is no motivation to continue clicking to get scammed, unpaid, or not get any completion, I may start trying again soon, not the first time I stop, or I may stop completely, we'll see, but this company seems happy with their revenues, and it's not important if a % of their members are not earning anything, so be it..........Maybe now with recession fears out of the way, things might change, though I doubt it, it is clear that this site wants most surveys and earnings to go only to specific members and countries - so it's like fighting against a never ending tornado. Gonna give it one more try soon.

Unfortunately now with Peanut Labs gone from GPTs that hurt LOTS - was a TOP earner for some of us here, the rest of the routers here are a big FIASCO !

It's true, and SOME people with money do help already, a small percentage really, and mostly do it for $$$$ write off, BUT there is another way of looking at things, and someone already covered it here - some people work their tails off to earn decent money, and already contribute tons to society and the legal THIEF called their politician, and in return they want to live in comfort and buy the stuff they want to buy with the money they earned, and deserved. Most people spend 2/3 of their bloody life working and studying, so they want comfort in return - even if it is unnecessary or greedy by all standards - I guess it is a free choice for everyone to make - try telling wealthy people what they can and cannot do today  Good luck with that - Unless one is living in a dictatorship, they cannot force society a specific way, not even Biden's Democrats can achieve that :P But I do agree, there is lot of waste all around, and yes it's true most people spend on stuff they could easily live without and yet still live in comfort, but that decision is up to each person, besides people who waste and spend money like it grow on trees eventually learn their lesson the hard way - even the wealthy can pile debt and run themselves into bankruptcy and become homeless, this is not uncommon, so they do learn their lesson - AND yet you have people who spend wisely, still live in comfort but they keep their finances in check.

There are 2 problems, money wasted, resources wasted and food wasted, ok that's 3 :D Look at the size of people on this side of the planet - Some people eat food in a week that can feed an entire city in some countries, for a month or more.

kanjoormadam09 wrote: Yes I agree to some extent that for one to like a subject depends on who and how it is taught. Some teachers are favorite to students as they behave to the needs of students with proper soothing punishments rather than hard ones. A person to like a subject also depends on his passions and creativity skills. Chemistry was an easy subject for me and I used to get good grades in all science subjects . But I opted Physics for my bachelors degree as it had more job prospects :D

Oh it's so true that teachers have favourites, but this is not why I liked certain teachers more than others, I didn't cause any trouble in school, I was discrete and was a prankster but never crossed any lines :D The Chemistry teacher I had was strict and was not liked by some, I liked her because she made a complex subject fun to learn, she was patient and explained things very well in an otherwise boring or difficult topic depending on each student, people did not see chemistry was a fun class anyway, but she made it fun for most. Same for computer class, you have horrible teachers and you have teachers that can explain things in creative ways to make it easier for students to understand. That said my math teacher was also a c*nt, the worst teacher you can get, explains nothing, lazy arse, poor material etc I failed the final exam but he passed me anyway and all other students, guess he knew what a total arsehole he was, it was just by a few points anyway  He was so lazy that during regular classes (not final exam of the year) he let all his students grade their own home work, he didn't lift a bloody finger - it was hilarious because because he assumed the lot was honest I mean sure we were, I did pass math, but his final exam was the problem, he was a complete tosser, his final exam included mostly questions on subjects we never learned during the year !!!! it doesn't get any worse. So yeah sometimes you have horrible teachers, NOT because they don't cater to a student's individual needs but because they are all around horrible and incompetent, and that he was. That Chemistry teacher I had went out of her way to make sure you understood EVERYTHING, of course there are students that never paid attention and slept in class, and if you did not participate in lab assignments (you know, working with flames and dangerous chemicals) and applied safety protocol, she gave you a big ZERO, so she made sure people understood and worked safely - you don't wanna take chemsitry next to some psychopath bloke holding a bottle with sulphuric acid in it  well at the time it was not a problem, today it is though, today people pull their guns, that's how people settle scores in North America. Nowadays though you wanna home school your kids, and keep them far away from shooters and pedophiles, the politicians are too concerned about space and aliens, and UFOs than cleaning the streets full of criminals and predators :D

Oh yeah and speaking of school, in any case a lot of the shit we learn in school useless utter rubbish anyway, that we forget eventually - only SOME of it is actually useful - they should change the entire education system to focus on practice based on real life experiences rather than updated textbook theories. Math for example is useful some people cannot do simple additions let alone count :P and if you do coding you will see more than ever how math was useful to some degree, and science topics in general depending on what you do, for instance Chemistry might be useful if you want to be a criminal and do you know what :P OR work for a big pharmaceutical and build poisons called drugs that will kill millions of people because they are very unsafe and dangerous - etc. so yeah not all useless, but most ......... It's no different in Univeristy / College where you are forced to take hideous courses that are not related to your field and totally bloody useless - How many people find Philosophy useful, how many people can remember what they learned from those "filler" classes ? In highschool you were forced to select mandatory courses, Physics or Chemistry, for instance, among others - I made the right choices, though there are a few courses I could have done without, as they were totally useless AND boring. Computer for example, because I knew the topic already and had scuffles with our teacher because he did not believe me when I told him I coded in assembly language  until I proved him wrong - At the time I did ASM, mainly ASM6502 and BASIC. He was a good teacher who explain computer theory very well AND unlike other courses, we put what we learn into practice, it was only boring for me because I was way ahead of what was being taught.
Back to Chemistry, it became very complex in the end, in the exams we had very complex chemistry problems, like complex equations to resolve, etc, I am surprised I even passed that, it was not a topic I was excited to take, but I am thankful for the good and competent teacher, and I figured the topic would be more interesting than physics :D

Now the question is when you are living in a RV for months where does the money come from definitely it comes from somewhere without working for it,people find ways of getting money more than they need there is no limit to what you need

People cannot pay their bills maybe better get an RV money will come from somewhere

Thanks to politicians for throwing out money during the pandemic - This caused people to have lots of spending money, they kept spending money at a time supply chain was badly damaged due to lockdowns, sick leaves, etc, so the demand has skyrocketed due to available money vs. the offer that severely declined - which caused the massive inflation. NOW the Feds are raising rates in hopes of bringing inflation back down to 2% (ahahaha yea good luck with that) and despite that the economy is showing resiliency - people are getting raises, companies are upping the prices, and fighting inflation, so we are facing stagnant inflation to some extent. Also the Federal Reserve played a huge role with its loosening policies and bringing interest rates down to near 0 and throwing money into the economy and markets - they did so FOR TOO LONG !!!! and now with housing prices going up, companies giving raises, etc, it acts as a counter effect to the inflation lowering measures.

Sky high interest rates, does not seem to stop home buyers - it's RIDICULOUS, people are spending $1 million on a home they could have purchased for under $500k before pandemic, yet they know they can never repay their f'n mortgage - this stinks 2008 all over, and that bubble could explode in years to come.

Another 2008 would be really bad, it would be far worse.

Yeah like in America where most people are piling debt and spending more money than they can afford in a dozen lifetime :D I guess it's pretty much the same here in Canada, to a lesser extent. People spend so much money on stuff they don't need, what happened to being content with essentials - do you really need to live in a home with 12 bathrooms, and a parking space for 12 cars, when you are only a family of 3 ? It's money wasted, but with money comes greed and comes the need to want more - but even the rich are not immune to bad decisions - it's not uncommon to see once wealthy people overspend and end up homeless on the street with not a single F cent to their name, from rich to poor, you can get there quickly if you take wrong decisions. For example, voting for Biden, contributed to making hundreds of millions of people poorer and run more debt :D

Quote:
Of course, many years ago people did not need money per se. Many people used 'Trade'. I've got two cows and I'll trade you one of my cows for one of your goats'.

Yeah many many many many years :P I'll trade you a few gold coins against 4 barrels of beans and rice
Stuff is overly expensive today, it would be more like I'll trade you my 2 cows for your Ferrari

Quote:
Today greed has taken over. Many people mistrust their neighbors. Many people focus on a big house, even though they don't need a big house.

Yeah exactly, and with a big house comes big expenses, huge property tax, huge insurance premiums, huge repairs, etc, I mean for what ? If you were running an orphanage OK but 2 people living in big mansions, for what ? I'm talking about people who buy a big house for shelter - because you have people who buy a house as an investment and rent out (b&b, etc....) But it's automatic - when people win the lottery or big amounts of money you ask them what they will do with all the money, and their first reaction is, I'll buy a mansion, I'll buy a big home, I'll buy cars, etc, in 2023 if you have ANY roof on top of your head, you are lucky, if you live in any small HOUSE you are lucky, even the shittiest and smallest of a house is a luxury now, some people are still stuck in seedy apartments smaller than prison cells, and buildings infested with rodents and crack heads :D

It would be nice if all the filthy rich folks would get together and use a lot of that money to build affordable homes to shelter people who cannot afford homes or rent - in some sort of affordable housing project - because nobody can count on today's politicians to do that, they rather spend money on big pharmaceuticals (that give them blowjobs in return), and the space program (that's basically going nowhere, just like the void of space :D).

Quote:
'm just saying, there are people that live their life waiting for what they want instead of what they need. What they want can be costly in many ways and of course......needless.

There are individual circumstances though, privacy - You may have multiple children, but each has their own thing, might not always be a good idea to share a room, especially when the age difference is big or the genders are different and even worse, sharing a bathroom  at least not in North America - Yes the cultures are different in many countries, where it is not uncommon to have HUGE families living under one roof and sharing everything, and half a dozen children to a room.......... it's OK to have a home with multiple bedrooms, if you are planning to have a big family, as far as your point that those teens will eventually leave the house, well ........ with the CRIMINALLY high cost of living today, you can bet every dollar that it's less the case today, it's unlikely that they will leave the home as soon as they become an adult - they will need a really good high paying job to barely support themselves, statistically, children stay much longer, some don't leave, some do, some leave later than sooner, things change, and if they leave sooner than later, you have the option of selling later - and nowadays you wanna hold on to your property as much as possible because housing prices are shooting through the roof - despite crazy high interest rates, the economy has shown to be resilient, a recession now is off the table, once those interest rates start coming down probably in 2024-2025 watch housing prices skyrocket - Here we have seen housing prices go from a median $300k up to $600 only in 3 years !!!! That's DOUBLE! I bet you people who sold their homes before the pandemic wish they could go back in time!

BUT there are limits though - you don't need a multi story house, you don't need a garage to park 12 cars, you don't need a backyard the size of a 9 hole golf course :P
