We live in a hologram - proof here » Post #16

Sat Jul 08, 2023 18:57 in General Talk

If God had a creator, he/she would not be God as God is the creator of all things  The reason we cannot reason beyond human physics, is because the notion of time only exists within human life, outside of which, it does not exist, therefore, God existed before his creations - it is extremely difficult to understand because humans work much like computers, logic, humans work inside a time line, something has a beginning and an end, we are created, we evolve and we rot....... God has a different process - NOW here is the tricky part - can we say that WE as humans have a beginning and an end ? NO - A theory suggests we have always existed and always been, only in different forms - when we die, we still exist but part from our vessel called the human body. There are even theories suggesting God is just another hardwired belief into people's brain and that it does not exist outside human realm perception - SO THEN, if we are a simulation or hologram, who the bloody hell created all this ? Though there is now more compelling evidence of a God (the God particle ? ) Nobody will EVER be able to explain the who, what and when of God creation, because even if you could, you would have to explain who created the creator of God, and repeat the same exercise infinity number of times.
Some atheist say they do not believe in God but believe we are all created by aliens......... Now why the F would aliens create an inferior species ? and who created those aliens to begin with ? I think aliens are part of the evolution of life - we start as microbes, then insects, then human, then more advanced intelligent life, then alien, until we reach the top level, we move on in the chain of evolution after each rebirth. This is a theory SO all those aliens, they were once humans, they were once animals, they were once insects, they were once viruses / microbes.
Question is does it matter who created God ? Is it essential to know ? One thing for sure, whoever created humans sure did a lousy job - or did he ? He created humans with 100% free will, even Lucifer is God's creation, although he was never always that, he turned against God - same for humans, BUT if God is perfect, why didn't he create perfect humans and perfect life - So more compelling evidence human and alien life and life in general is just one massive experiment

I like that part - Nothing IS something - let's say the universe was one giant black void, to humans it is NOTHING, but we are observing SOMETHING - what makes that empty void black, since nothing could not have existed forever, even nothing was created, therefore it is something of nothing - what we see as nothing could hold invisible energy, it's just that our eyes cannot see that spectrum of frequencies. For example, there are radio signals all over the air, every where, yet we cannot see them, there are lots of invisible things we cannot see with our eyes because we cannot see these wave lengths - when you hold your IR remote and press buttons, what do you see ? NOTHING, BUT in fact there is something, there is infra-red light travelling.

There are theories also that NOTHING exists, it only exists if you look at it. Example ? An apple - if you look at the apple you will see it, but once you turn around, you won't see the apple, and it no longer exists. Look at the 2 slit experiment where if you observe the experiment the results are different than if you run the experiment without observing it.
So do objects have the ability to change depending on whether they are being observed or not ? Well science has proven this theory.

Life could be empty space with energy and non physical objects - BUT being humans that we are, our brain will convert this invisible energy into what we perceive as senses (smell, touch, vision, hearing and taste.

and this - Analog vs. Digital. DIGITAL does NOT exist in a native form, it's all analog, but represented digitally by a decoder. Data is stored in an analog format. Data is not actually stored as 1's and 0's on a HD, it is ENCODED. Same for SSDs, it is stored as voltages and the voltage thresholds are converted to actual bits. So humans work much the same, our brain is a DECODER. Once we die we return to our origin state, we no longer need a decoder, because we are in our native form now and experience stuff in a native way.

Arvind9 wrote: Even Indians love cash most people are not connected digitally in India

This is quite surprising - a lot of Indians I know personally are connected, use digital wallets, and they are more advanced than we are here, because of the mobile plans being a fraction of the cost here - it could be true that for buying they use more cash than here, on this side of the planet it is credit cards, debit cards, wallets, no wonder people here are in debt over their head.

As far as Tasman1 - no surprise, banks are the biggest ponzi schemes out there - think about it - if everyone were to go at the bank to withdraw their money, banks wold collapse. When you earn interest on your money, that money does not grow on trees, it is paid from other people's deposits or from the interest paid by the loans bank give - and loans come from money from other depositors. When you deposit into a GIC / CD and earn interest at the end of the year, where do you think the money comes from, another person's money - let's say you take $100,000 CD for 1 year at 4.5% interest with interest payments paid monthly , they are paying you back parts of your own money until maturity combined with interest payments made using that $100k that they loan to someone else. Any bank that will put restrictions on your money is a red flag - it means a bank is in difficulty. Thanks to the idiot Jerome Powell, who has gone mad and keeps raising rates and says he will keep doing so until inflation goes down to 2% (yeah is he is bonkers !!!) he is putting banks at risk and the entire economy at risk, this will hurt banks a lot and cause more banks to fail. Banks are not a safe place to keep your money anymore if you exceed your insured coverage.........which is for US FDIC $250k per person per bank per account type - so it's more money than most people have, so for most people it is safe :D

For Australia there is the FCS which insures $250k, so for Tasman1, I doubt that you would have that kind of money in a BANK account - most people with that kind of money have it invested and not in a bank :P

What the bloody hell is this all about, what did I miss ? I do not see a post acc deactivated in general or anywhere. Were you flagged for an ID check ? There are 2 types, phone and ID, did ever complete any one before ?

Which brings me to a question, just asking because I'm curious - Those who go through gender change, do they need to re-do their ID check ?

Don't be so dramatic - if you didn't do anything wrong I'm sure it will be resolved, it's not like you are a fugitive or anything :D If you cannot verify by ID why can't they let you verify through mobile it was an option before ?

climate change at its peak; » Post #45

Mon Jul 03, 2023 19:46 in General Talk

Well politicians do not care about climate change anyway, because we are all going to be living underground and eating lab engineered foods, we kinda do already for those that eat processed and genetically modified foods - they have chicken growing bigger breasts, they have bigger cows to produce more meat, who knows maybe they can genetically modify the chickens to grow 4 breasts for double the production :D The thing is whether people care or not it's too late, we are already past that point of no return - right now to take care of things would take unrealistic goals - it's too late, the only thing we CAN do is prevent progression of further damage, can we eliminate petrol run cars for electric, all 100% of cars, NOPE, unrealistic, the oil industry would never allow this - and besides, electric cars are criminally expensive to maintain - AND believe it or not batteries have a carbon footprint so they are not entirely environmental friendly. So once you eliminate petrol cars, then what, you would also have to ban all Air Conditioning systems, they are a great source of pollution - would it be realistic to abolish all cooling in homes, apartments, business ? what about refrigerators all running on compressors ? then you have deodorants in sprays - THEN you have the meat industry having to increase production due to demand and over consumption - we cannot entirely solve the problem, the planet IS decaying no matter what we do, we will never have a scenario where decay is slower than regeneration of resources, impossible, not anymore - all politicians care now is spending trillions of $ in space programs, aliens, space, other planets and all that crap and the scam industry called medicine and big pharmaceuticals.

Aside from human involvement, natural events play a role too - nothing lasts forever - humans have contributed the most part however........ I wonder if most people know that the water they are drinking from the tap is recycled water that was found in someone's germs infested toilet before and processed at a treatment plant ? Resources are not infinite. We are breathing air around us that others have exhaled, we are eating foods people have touched with their filthy hands, we are drinking water that was recycled from someone's raw sewage drained from their toilet and sink.

So much for Biden's green economy - I think America should focus on a #1 priority right now, which is violence and crime - they are doing a shitty job at that, and climate change measures at that too, do something about those CRIMINALS called real estate agents and the entire scam industry called housing and real estate, is it normal for homes to be worth millions of $ when they should be worth $200k ? it's not affordable to rent, it's not affordable to buy, no f****** wonder people are homeless and resorting to crime.

Shit for brains politicians have other priorities always has always will - they don't G.A.F. about any of the idiots who ahve voted them in power.

They care about their wallet - and they know that no matter how much they f*ck up, they will retire with a fat pension check courtesy of the suckers (a.k.a tax payers), so the worst deadbeat Preisdents get usually $600k-$1 million a year pension on top of the other financial resources they receive - it's PATHETIC - if politicians earned their pension and salary base don performance, they wouldn't be worth sh** ! :D

We live in a hologram - proof here » Post #10

Mon Jul 03, 2023 12:44 in General Talk

All these are theories, and not proof - we have not gone that far enough into space to know things other than what we see on telescopes and make assumptions based on images - these images can be distorted reality. Nobody can know for sure or prove we live in a hologram - She went through a lot of hot air and bullshit in a poorly presented video and long winded diatribe of hers - it's funny how nobody brought up ONE compelling evidence, like DREAMS we have, some people are LUCID dreamers and remember their vivid dreams, they remember that in those dreams they had ALL their senses and that it felt so real - more real than real life - YET the whole time they were lying on the bed sound asleep - SO this is a more convincing argument to prove things than go through the whole black hole and space crap - I mean if we are able to get real life experiences in our dreams including all our senses and not even know we are dreaming BUT we remember them, THEN the same could hold true in our awake life - IN BOTH cases, it is our brain at all times that are decoding energy to physical senses. Solid objects do not exist - energy does, when we touch something and feel something, it is not there in reality, it is our brain that interprets energy and waves into light, vision and senses, much like in our dreams - SO had she made this argument I would be more convinced............I didn't bother watching the whole video -she put me to sleep the first few minutes, the only time this has happened to me before is when Obama was President and I started listening to one of his speeches

Well your child will leave for a while, whilst a dog has a very limited life span - so you consider the dog like your child in the sense you are attached to it, in much the same way. Don't ever ask someone in America if they would take a billion $ to sell their child - you would be surprised on the answer  Most would do it for $10 nowadays.

Never did paid to read or paid to read e-mails. I almost did one of those Paid To Surf thingies, Cash Fiesta, I remember the banner, I did sign on and you had banners at all times on your screen whilst you surfed, at the time the rates were so good - unfortunately I had joined late, because the program collapsed and did not have time to earn $$$. People were cheating the F out of the program by faking surfing activity and leaving their page open - so everyone paid the price for those scumbag cheaters. Paid to Surf was a thing back then, it did not last because of cheaters, and every time they put anti cheat measures, the cheaters came with clever new ways to cheat!!! PTC eventually took over AND people still cheated the clicks, only thing is the pay rates are much much much lower - you would have to be pretty damn desperate to cheat clicks to ads that pay you $0.001 per click, which seems to be standard on a lot of PTCs, except the ones that use a ponzi scheme model. The only thing I took part of in the days before PTC as PTP (Paid To Post), there was a site with different topics covered, you got paid 10 cents per VALID post that was on topic - I earned a few bucks form that before site went under...... the topics I posted in were related to the HYIP / Ponzi industry, something I was very familiar with at the time, so it was easy - and they paid by Liberty Reserve. The site was ad supported. Again I had joined late, as it did not last.

Today you can pretty get paid for anything - with the YouTube and TikTok craze - People earn millions of $ on TiikTok and YouTube for crazy stuff like mukbang videos, binge eating on camera, pulling crazy stunts, there is even this girl who earns $20-$50k a month streaming video of her sleeping !!!!! You have people selling their dirty toenail clippings, spit and hair strands for a high price, through their TikTok, yep those get paid to programs sure have evolved

The fact that there is a lucrative market for selling jars full of dirty toe nail and hair strands, is HIGHLY DISTURBING !
I've heard of a a guy running a web site, he would take a picture of his toilet bowl every time he took a crap and posted pictures, through subscriptions - he made a fortune - some people out there will pay for this - it's quite disturbing YET you have people with good talents and skill working their arses off and barely making it - what's wrong with the picture ?

valerie wrote: Yep, the ceo was with one of the 5.

There are videos of the extraction of parts of the Titan from the ocean. They said there was human remains in some of the parts.

Wow - unbelievable, so if the company alleges that the crew was well informed on the risk but they insisted on signing anyway, then why the HELL did the CEO go along with them - I mean if it was a planned suicide mission, that's one hell of a painful way to die don't you think - this whole thing is sketchy - unless the CEO was a complete IDIOT and wasn't aware of any risks. My theory is that the CEO knew this was a death mission because of the risks, he decided to go with them as he did not want to deal with the fallback after the fact - BUT again this makes no sense, OceanGate could have refused the mission, they have a right to deny service as much as any company no matter the amount of money - was this whole thing planned meaning all 5 had discussed this ? Nobody will ever know - just like nobody will eve rknow if 9/11 was an inside job or not - I have my theories and opinions, which I will keep to myself

Quote:
Even tho contracts were signed by those that paid, doesn't mean lawsuits can't happen. The OceanGate company was probably hoping none of the parts would be recoverable. If they find something about those parts that was neglected from the info to those that paid, a lawsuit could happen. It may anyway but they'd likely win if information was left out. or distorted about the craft safety.

If ALL the facts and information were stated in the contract and the crew signed it "at their risk and peril", I do not think there is a legal case to be made - only if information was hidden or not disclosed AND proof would need to be made that the missing information was directly responsible for the event - another way it could be a legal case is through an ambiguity clause.

If I ran a company and you came to me and paid me $250,000 for an expedition - in my contract I write "Please be aware of the very high risk, there are many dangerous animals roaming in the area, your acceptance of this is at your risk and peril." Let's say you decide to sign my contract and you get eaten by 4 bears - can your family sue me ? NOPE, I already told you about the risks, and you accepted anyway............ BUT.......here is the thing, can lawyers argue that no company should allow service if it has knowledge of any harm - one could argue this example, I have a glass of highly concentrated rat poison diluted in sparkling water - I mention on the contract that you may die from drinking this, but you still decide to sign, knowing the risk............ let's say your state of mind was good enough to make a decision, can I still be liable ? In theory NO, but I could be liable for something else - the fact I offered a service or product that I know could cause harm - GOOD lawyers like the ones OJ Simpson had, could make a good case out of nothing, I mean the guy got away with it, but he lost in Civil Court - SO the family COULD win a civil case suit for being RESPONSIBLE for the deaths of the crew.

In any case they are long gone and dead - it could take YEARS before anybody sees the colour of money, and IF there is a case it will be the lawyers that take most of it - no amount of money can REPAIR the scars from the loss of loved ones especially to events like these, STUPID and USELESS events - what did they want to prove ? They wanted to break a record........yeah look how that worked out - just like the people who decide to go on space missions to look for F'n aliens and other planets.........Republicans when in power should make massive cuts to space program, cut trillions of $ spending, and focus that spending on IMPORTANT stuff here on earth - we don't need to be up there searching for any g******** aliens - if they wanted to reach us, they know where we are :D

Quote:
So, my guess, there is going to be lawsuits. OceanGate is probably finished playing.

I agree there will be lawsuits because people will chance it no matter what - BUT it will be a difficult and very long trial - they will need to determine when, and how and which parts failed, and how, etc, O.J. Simpson's case took 9 damn months and the evidence was so compelling against him - and that was back in the days - NOW, f or this event, it's more complex, it could easily trail on for years - and now with the CEO dead, well they will have to dig through documents (assuming they were not destroyed already) to see how much OceanGate knew about parts allegedly not being up to spec for the mission..................................

IN my opinion if you have prior knowledge of something that can harm others, and let them go through, just because they accepted risks, is CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE - If I know something is of very high risk to you and you can lose your life, I am NOT gonna take your money, and NOT gonna have you sign on, knowing you are going on a death mission..........you'd have to give me a considerable amount of money, in the high 9 figures

It's funny we don't quite remember this important date - something we can never forget, yo know the "4 hour maintenance - we will be back much better and improved". I know it was an August, it's either 2018 or 2019, my careful guess would be 2019......yes 4 bloody years  (or 5 if it was 2018).

I'm pretty sure looking back he is happy he sold - good timing - Appen acquired Figure8 and destroyed it, and stopped supporting external channels ..... the site would have been worth less $$$ without tasks at the time - though I had warned Jim that tasks would eventually go, he said at the time he would survive, I'm sure, but for international traffic, tasks represent a good chunk of the revenues for a GPT. Anyhow, I wonder had Jim not sold, what would be CS today, I think that whole 2016 scandal and FTC thing hurt him, even as he removed the multi level affiliate thing, it would not change anything - given the events of 2016, it would be nearly impossible for him to get new partnership deals with suppliers - I think in a way he knew that - Prodege has all the power and reputation to get those deals, unfortunately, ......... well let's leave it at that .... At least there is now 3 new routers and it is benefiting some people / many people here......... What will be missed from CS the most is better communication and better support.

What I said, I think they should look closely at the CEO to see what kind of life insurance policy he had and his physical and mental health records. To me, it looks like a planned suicide mission.

OceanGate, according to them, they informed the rich tourists of the risks, and the rich tourists ignored and signed the contract, accepting the risks - I dunno how valid this would hold in court though and nobody knows the extent of responsibility from OceanGate - allegedly the 5 people were aware of the risks and were informed and they signed the acceptance of them.

Did I understand correctly that the CEO of OceanGate was with the crew of 5 ? Yeah talk about a suicide mission what a horrible death - if they went against all safety measures and it's on paper, those life insurance policies are good for nothing - no insurance will pay life insurance if the cause of death was due to negligence - and like you said, it looks like a planned suicide mission - going that deep in the ocean knowing beforehand that the sub was not designed to go that deep is bonkers.......

Today I heard they found scattered body parts. Which kind of idiots would sign on to such a mission knowing the extreme danger and risks and knowing (allegedly) that the equipment was not designed for such depth. It's unfair to the survivors of those 5 crew members, none of them will get a f*****g cent from their life insurance and will have to cough up the high price now AND they lost loved ones over some STUPIDITY - just the fact that the sub was called Titan is very bad Omen - they had all the money in the world why did they spend it on this CRAP !
