kanjoormadam09 wrote: Some people have less control power and they are the ones who enter into criminal activities.Right from childhood a person should be taught how. to control instincts then many such bad incidents can be reduced

That's essentially what I said, awareness - instead of teaching kids about santa, t he tooth fairy, and other bullshit they will eventually find out was a lie, why not teach them about reality - the world is full of sex predators and pedophiles, they should 1) Make self defence classes mandatory 2) Teach kids about social media, chat rooms and awareness, no minor should be spending time in chat rooms and on some sites, OR they should be fully aware on what to expect and learn what to do in situations. On top of that instead of WASTING tax dollars on unnecessary bullshit (hope Biden is taking notes), they should invest considerable amounts for online crime prevention - have the most commonly used chat rooms and sites frequented by minors, infiltrated and monitored by groups in order to catch MORE sex praetors and pedophiles - this will not completely eliminate them, but with the awareness I was talking about, it would considerably reduce the number of victims.

What is even more disturbing is that a lot of the times kids are acting like adults - sometimes kids make the first moves and engage in inappropriate chat or actions- there was a documentary on that which is enough to boil your blood watching it, where you see kids go on chat sites and social media and send pics or engage in dirty talk - they probably hear their parents talk like that or their friends talk like hood rats so they act the role, and they get trapped, it's very infuriating - adults who engage in such activities commit a crime - but if minors engage in such chats, they get a slap on the wrist - so more presence and monitoring of these sites and rooms - and one more thing, kids who wanna act like adults and do adult crimes, in my opinion should be tried as adults and punished as adults - enough of the petty punishments and ridiculous sentences.

In any way forum talk is dying , we are last few who still talk , what is sad is this shit is going not just here but all around the world on all forums , blogs, etc

Are we all scared to talk or what

There are many people here who read the forum, MANY who spend time only reporting posts, and not making one ******mned contribution by posting anything - there have been many GOOD topics of current events not a single post in the topics, it's not the lack of topics - people ARE talking on social media, people are certainly not afraid to talk, it's just that some places are more strict on enforcing guidelines - there are certain things you cannot say on a forum like the killing of other people, suggesting violence directly or indirectly, even against enemies, that is a HUGE liability for any site to tolerate stuff like that, there are lines that cannot be crossed though but we still have massive headroom on freedom of expression though, why do people not want to discuss many other current events, AND instead spend their time reporting posts, many times which are not warranted is a mystery. Don't get your hopes up Tasman1, she is not coming back, if she does it will be to drop by from time to time, maybe, I dunno what happened, it's hard to believe that she left only because of posts from ySenseTeam - I mean maybe they asked her to leave, she was contributing to good topics outside the eccentric topics that were funny too - so what happened all of a sudden maybe the truth will come out one day - I do share her frustrations a little but one should cut the ySense admins here some slack, they only pass along our concerns to the departments that take decisions - the issue here is Prodege, not the administrators on forum, the issue is Prodege that has a different vision than moderators and members here I guess - her expectations are a bit too high for 2022 - the time when this was a forum of members helping members was when we had TASKS, lots of good tasks and members were helping others with that - when tasks disappeared, a large chunk of earning potential went away from here, along with members - there is only so much members can do to help others here with issues when the issue is site related or account problems.

Some people are patient and can deal with this, others not - guess it was her time and she could not take it no more.

After all she was the one who pushed Jim to add GPT elements to his PTC - Had she not done so, I wonder if Jim would have thought of that on his own - probably not. She ran sites too and she did make many constructive suggestions to ySense, many good ones, as with other moderators, but falling on deaf ears. So it was not all bad.

Hopefully she comes back in the winter to give us good movie ideas on Netflix

Or in 2024 so we can discuss the next Presidential elections and what mischief Trump will be up to next

There is more to the story than beauty - this is what guys are mostly attracted by (ok let's be honest, this applies to either gender too no more BS  ) so if the bloke was only seeing her "beauty" then sooner or later, but probably sooner, reality will hit hard - and I don't think he will be able to change his mind and get back to is wife, that's not how it works - often people make the big mistake of confusing lust / looks with true lasting love - the same applies with friendships too. Oh they met on Facebook before, sounds even more like a scam - of course it is typical - it's not always like that but not uncommon for it to happen, if you think about it, it is a big opportunity for her, but the fact she goes through with it, knowing the bloke already has a wife says a lot about her - this bloke has no idea what he got himself into - she has no ethics, no nothing, and if she thinks it is ok to break marriages like that, then it means she would do the same thing when she gets a chance, gets what she wants and dumps the guy for another bloke, here's how this plays out, she will want a kid with him, for obvious reasons, bloke will fall into the trap - do people even still understand what commitment and marriage means anymore, if people just want to f*ck around they should not even bother getting married let alone have kids ............................

The concern is that it was a tamed virus, that was limited to specific areas - NOW, it is spreading and infecting people who have had no close contacts - This virus is transmissible through prolonged and close contact - new cases in new countries each day - Unfortunately for people who are "too social", but fortunately enough for people who are not :P Unlike COVID. Yeah it could be a concern, we may all turn into monkeys, zombies, or who knows, maybe the monkeypox merges with Omicron and creates a new super covid variant, as if we needed that right now to add more to our boring daily lives :P

Guess now the vaccine makers will find new reason to push more needles and vaccines into our body, as if we did not have enough bloody vaccines for a year - they might as well combine the Flu, COVID and MonkeyPox vaccine into one booster shot we get every 3 months

Sure fast convenient food has a big market for those who are unfortunate not to cook or eat real food - but do most people realise how much more expensive it is to eat that way ? There are far better healthier, less harmful alternatives to McDonalds. You don't need to learn how to cook to buy food and prepare it yourself. You can buy those healthier frozen fires that you can put in a cookie sheet and bake for 10-20 minutes, they are much healthier than McDonalds fries. There are frozen stuff you can add to that, fish, meat balls, anything better than the fast food chains, I mean come on, people can learn how to make salad dressing, cut vegetables, do the basic stuff, you don't need to be a Michelin star chef to eat at home and avoid restaurants - People who eat junk like McDonalds are unaware of the alternatives. Heck even buying a box of TV Dinners is much healthier  I'm pretty sure Indians or Russians won't starve to death if there is no McDonalds, why because there are many other alternatives. There are CostCos in India right ? You can buy food in bulk, if you calculate how many portions it serves it is a fraction of the cost of the foods you eat at McDonalds, which has become very expensive over the years I mean here for one small fries, one bloody big mac and a beverage you are out $25 - this is crazy, for that price you can buy many items and feed a few people for a few days. You can buy burgers, fries, buns, and eat for several times, tastier and healthier than McDonalds, OK I did not say HEALTHY, I said healthiER :D

It is very difficult to transform a criminal to a decent person. Though criminals are born due to circumstances there are many inborn criminals. Regarding paedophils they are not eligible for any mercy and should be given the worst punishment

Not all criminals can be reformed, some can, some show remorse and change, it depends on the crime, but whatever happens, the victims still keep that painful scar their whole life. As to hard criminals or pedophiles, well, killing them would be letting them get away easy - it's better to keep them alive and give them a terrible quality of life and TRUE punishment. Some pedophiles recognise that they have a sickness, they always blame it on others or that they cannot control it, I mean why kids FFS ??? why can't they just use their creative imagination or something or get help sooner than later - Pedophiles and sex offenders are placed in a registry, I don't know if it is for life or temporary, but they should be forced to carry identification on them that is VISIBLE, as a signal to others that they are a predator - it's probably easier to reform a hard criminal than a sex offender / pedophile, because their crime is based on an addiction often difficult to control, even harder than drug addiction. Fortunately not all sex addicts are out of control, some people are passive and will not act on their impulse other than wanking at home. Try asking a nymphomaniac who is used to 12 shags a day, 7 days a week, to stop for a day :P So killing is not the solution, death penalty doesn't deter criminals, nor would it deter pedophiles, WHY ? Because most of them don't get caught anyway, and most would rather die. BUT if you keep them alive with a horrible quality of life, and monitored at all times, then they will get to feel bad about something - and in cases where you can reform a pedophile or sex offender, they should remain monitored for life, with conditions.

They should be forced to do community work (supervised) and away from schools or children.

There are more sex predators and pedophiles than you think, roaming the street, working in schools, working in high positions - most don't get caught - not all of them are active, some are passive, some are passive, semi-active,
some are active and only get caught years later - just like regular sex offenders.

There are too many - killing them won't stop the problem - AWARENESS to prevent this, is more effective.

Wow this sounds like a good script for a Netflix Original  or an article in a tabloid. So what happened ? And only 10 days ? I dunno this is quite suspicious -if I didn't know better I'd say the bloke is being scammed and used - this can't be true love - you cannot get to know someone in 10 days - so either the bloke was living in hell already or she is one looker, but still, you don't make children if you cannot commit. People f*** around all the time, but they should refrain from having kids though - that is a life long commitment.

Let's see how long this new found relationship lasts, any bets ? So yeah all the married couples out there opening their homes to refugees, watch your hubbies like a hawk  and if refugees are male, then hubbies watch your wifeys like a hawk :P

I disagree, there are lots of serious and good topics we can discuss, the world doesn't evolve around Russia & Ukraine, it's just that the war was part of the news and it concerns the whole world because the negative impacts go all over the world - but fortunately there are also many other things worthy of discussion. First thing a new President should do is get rid of Powell - This whole problem with inflation is all the fault of the Federal Reserve that has kept interest rates low for too long - We can't discuss wars and religions, but we can still discuss news, and there's a lot of news outside this war. I do not think we can blame the war on inflation, it does not help inflation but it is not the root cause.

If this current administration can somehow manage to turn inflation around, whilst avoiding a recession and create conditions for stocks to go from a bear market to bull market, that is it's only chance for securing a second term, otherwise, well, it's gonna be 4 more years of a show down and feud between the far left and the far right :P

This topic will likely be very popular like the pigeon poop one  I really did not want to get into specific but I need to for context so I hope everyone had their meals before reading what's to come  Yeah bidets are OK, it doesn't really replace toilet paper use though, it reduces it - in the other poop topic we discussed that the ideal human poop is big, one piece and dry, which does not smear and require no wiping or cleaning. Because we never eat optimally, we produce wet sh** and the degree of toilet paper depends on the type of poop - if you have diarrhea you will need more wiping. The bidet comes in handy to wash the surface you normally wipe, but for fussy people who like to get in deeper, you will still need that few folds of TP to wipe the residue left up there beyond your sphincters  Otherwise yeah bidets are practical, less wiping for sure - BUT you still need to dry up - not a good idea to keep your arse wet and humid  Some people use a towel, and some use one piece of paper towel.

I can only give you the right that has become very impersonal here on Ysense.

Is that the ONLY reason she left ? I mean support was less than stellar, always, maybe there is something else (conspiracy theory) - gotta ask that dentist what did he put in her shots

Quote:
Unfortunately, it is a familiar sign when large companies are acquiring smaller companies.
The only thing that is focused on is that you cut the product so that you do not have to provide so much yourself, outsourcing is also one of the things you use a lot in connection with taking over companies.

You got it - That's what I have been saying many times before on topics discussing this matter - because I have experienced many acquisitions myself, and ALL had this pattern - Company acquiring pays big money to buy site A, then comes the restructuring, basically either retaining existing talent or hiring new ones altogether and then comes the cost cutting and removing unnecessary costs - cuts cuts cuts to maximise their ROI, Often companies acquiring have a totally different "vision" - but the majority if not totality of the times I have seen acquisitions, it has ALWAYS made the site acquired much worse than before - sometimes even running them to the ground. I even gave examples with real names of companies - I used to be a member of some of the top stand alone panels online in the days, ALL of which were acquired, ALL of which sank - ySense acquisition so far has been less damaging compared to the many others I have experienced, as ySense has retained most of CS's original look, and one cannot compare SUPPORT on a 1 man run site vs. a multi site operator - support is rarely anywhere decent on any midlarge company, even small one - but this site lacks big time in some areas CS was best at - which is typical of all the acquisitions I have seen, on a less severe level. I don't want to be mean but in my opinion it comes down to lack of proper vision, lack of proper management, now I cannot venture into saying skill, because usually that skill part of the company relies on the big decision makers above them, and the same holds true for the team admins posting here passing messages to team - they do just that, pass the message, it's not their fault if things are less than stellar here, these decisions are taken by CEO, COO, CTO, SVP, department managers, etc.

Quote:
I have many times on various websites wondered that it is called customer service, as in most cases it could be more called lack of customer service.
Unfortunately, the world has become cold and cynical, no one takes over a company for the sake of coziness, no, money must be made and preferably the investment must be made in the shortest possible time.
The good old days will never come back

Print that on a poster in the largest font possible - this is so true - support is just horrible everywhere nowadays and so bloody text book - it's either you are chatting with bots OR real humans reading from a script, support is lacking everywhere almost, but there are exceptions - The best way to call it is customer disservice  A perfect example of that is your phone carrier's service - they are so quick to call you in the middle of dinner and try to sell their services or upgrades to you - they really want your business but the moment you are signed up and need support from them, they are bad, be it phone carrier, cable, mobile, it sucks. Support here is not stellar but it is not the worst I have seen it's still better than support you get through offer walls :D

BTW, Support on ClixSense was no better, in fact it was HORRIBLE - if it wasn't Jim answering the tickets personally, then it was horrible. He had 2 or more support people, all horrible, they would answer you with stuff totally irrelevant to your ticket, as if they don't bother reading the bloody ticket. When Jim or Joao answered it was perfect, but the other 2 they were totally bloody clueless. So comparing ySense support that I'd say it's better here, but wait it's far from what one would call "good enough" yet :P

I dunno why people hate when the word "team" is used - it's a polite way of saying "We share your frustrations, but we are just messengers passing the message to the company higher-ups and the ones who take the decisions and usually give three f****" If you have ever watched Gordon Ramsey's shows, it's like that, he gets to taste the meals, brought to him by the servers, meals are rubbish, server communicates that to the "team" in the kitchen - the rest is up to the team in the kitchen to step up their game :D This site needs a Gordon Ramsey, imagine if Gordon Ramsey did GPTs

I find it hard to understand how most companies are gaining from the war, maybe in some sectors - the war is not helping the situation with inflation, it is making it worse, and certainly for companies it is worse because it means higher costs of operation, Feds hiking interest rates, which in turn will cause less spending which in turn will cause less earnings, which in turn will cause markets to tank during quarterly results. Is it benefiting the US, I don't think so, remember Biden's words to that journalist who asked a similar question even though he didn't know his mic was still open, he was right 100% No President in his first term has a solid chance of re-election during a war and when economy is going down the toilet, and inflation is going up, there is no political capital to gain there - the only companies benefiting from the war are those greedy ones taking advantage of inflation to inflate the prices higher than they should be, abusing the system - some grocery items here have gone up by 50-60% in one month, that's a good example of abuse - so yes in some sectors companies are taking advantage - restaurants is another sector because it is known that people are willing to foolishly spend big bucks dining out just to be served at a table - this is why some of the most expensive restaurants are still in business, so all restaurants are saying "Hey let's take advantage of inflation and give ourselves an excuse to jack the prices, people will still spend money" but there is a limit to the madness - once those interest go up the ceiling, people will tighten their belts and spend less, this is how inflation will eventually go down, but drag the economy along with it - of course some companies will benefit for the market crash to come - because it creates a fresh new opportunity - these companies are selling high and waiting for the bottom signal to buy low - this is exactly what they did during 2020 during the massive sell-off. There will always be companies and individuals making a fortune over others' misfortune. In the case of the US I do not think there is ANY benefit or gain from this from a political perspective, because usually voters will blame everything on the President, and who wants to re-elect a President under high inflation out of control, tanking stock market, recession, war, pandemic and civil unrest.

Any company out there that truly does not want the war to end does not deserve any business and should be boycotted 100% Some companies are making gains from this war and claim they are not doing anything illegal, free enterprise right ? capitalism right ? BUT if I found out that any company states that they hope the war never ends, I would stop supporting in an instant - I do not think it is the case for most companies on this side of the world, though some are abusing and price gauging taking advantage of INFLATION - keep in mind if war ends, the first thing that will happen is that you will see stocks skyrocket - it will eventually help bring down inflation over time, raise consumer sentiment, and all this will have a positive effect on business and earnings - I'd say companies have MORE to gain from this than an ongoing war, yes there are abusers and always will be but most companies would wish for all this to be over with and inflation brought under control.

Besides, your example is flawed - there is barely any cases on your island - trust me, if you were living here, or in the UK or in the US, with this bloody Omicron variant odds are you will been infected, the only reason you see a drop in cases in some countries that are less vaccinated is because of the effect of herd immunity, most of the population was infected and re-infected - which is why you see fewer cases in countries with low vaccination rates, but you see more dead bodies and hospital visits........The vaccine is weak at protecting you against infection - if you get vaccinated and are too careful not to get exposed - odds are you will at some point get infected, because the protection of infection is so low and virtually nil after 2 months, because the vaccine was meant for the original Wuhan strain (the original version), it is mainly protecting you against severity - vaccines are still effective, they just do little to protect you from getting infected in the first place. Fortunately for you on your island, there are too few cases - your risk are low of catching COVID19 anyway, you don't live in a densely populated area.

We have reopened the post. You are welcome to discuss the closure of McDonald's in Russia, but please avoid discussing the political background or even - as has happened - making blanket accusations of crimes against specific population groups.

Thanks for your understanding.

But here's the problem, the whole event IS political, the closure. Everything lately has a political background - are companies doing the right thing or are they saving their arses ? McDonalds is publicly held, what is the last thing a publicly held company wants ? Bad publicity and bad sentiment, because then what happens ? Stocks go down. So I'm wondering here, what will this change in the current situation ? Is it out of solidarity ? or is it because they want to avoid backlash ? My opinion in the latest post above does not change, nothing will change, this is not a sanction - I'm pretty sure Russians can survive without a fast food chain, although it sucks for people who enjoyed the place, like I said, it could be a good thing actually, McDonalds is not exactly healthy cuisine  I know for a fact not ALL Russians agree with what's happening, I know personally, the closure of companies is just to avoid backlash in public opinion, which has a negative impact on stock value - nothing more in my opinion, hopefully this post is not too political but if you dig deep the whole thing IS, as most business decisions evolve around that. The whole handling of this pandemic was political. The whole thing with vaccines and big pharmas not releasing an Omicron specific vaccine IS political.

Besides even fast food has become crazy expensive, McDonalds is no exceptions - Besides, does McDonalds contribute to most of Russia's economy and resources ? No. It's just McDonalds doing what many companies are doing, do what's best in the fact of public opinion regardless of its own, solidarity my arse - nobody showed solidarity when it came time to handle this pandemic that has spiralled out of control. Imagine if they closed ALL fast food chains all over the world, people would be healthier, learn how to grow foods and prepare foods at home and not eat junk food even though junk food can be delicious too
