allow for as much of the population to get infected - but that means sacrificing lives - I do not agree with this method, but it also means that if you lock down population one day or another they will become extremely vulnerable to infections and the virus will catch up to them. China's way was the good way, but there is a problem - every country in the world must control the virus the same way for it to become endemic - If China alone has a zero COVID19 policy whilst the rest of the world is having fun ignoring it, it doesn't work - because China cannot obviously ban all incoming travel - and the virus travels.
The whole handling of the pandemic was a big sham - if ALL countries did like China did from the start, we would not be in this situation - and sine China has not gone through this phase of infections and re-infections - the virus is catching up - this applies to other countries too that had no case or little case that now see soaring cases - if you protect your population from infections, sooner or later it will catch up to them, especially if you leave your borders open to incoming travel - IF you let your population get it, you get more dead bodies and more hospitalisations - Tough situation.
What I find rather odd is how come China has been unable so far to come up with better vaccines than the ones we have, a treatment, etc, they have the resources and facility, they didn't......... They had the right plan, but as long as there are other countries with variants and cases, we will never get out of this pandemic, as long as people travel around the world. China is no different and is not immune from this, neither is North Korea, now reality is hitting hard. Initially I would have believed China would be the first to come up with a revolutionary vaccine or treatment, it's almost as if they want this to trail on and on - again it makes me wonder if China is doing what's best for the population - BUT wait, I'm wondering if here governments are taking the best decisions for people - and the answer is a big NO.
What happens now when vaccines wane off and new variants emerge ?

The best thing to control Bp is some breathing exercises like Yoga, meditation and even brisk walking. Medicines though can prevent stroke or organ failures may have longl asting sideeffects

Could it be a push by Insurance companies? The pharm and insurance industries really do control a lot of what physicians subscribe these days.

They did take my bp before extraction at the dentist. It was something like 155/80.

I did, as I do, take my bp med every morning. So that was a little high but of course not high enough to be concerned about and neither was the dentist.

Health insurance may see a push in bp meds as a saving alternative. That may be a good thing. I mean taking a bp med is not going to hurt per say, unless it causes one to bottom out or spike. Health insurance companies may see it as a preventive to reduce expense later (stroke, coma, etc).

One's blood pressure always fluctuates. For starters, you have your 'resting blood pressure', 'laying down blood pressure', 'standing up blood pressure', 'physical blood pressure (exertion)'. You also have your blood pressure when mentally under stress, emotional, happy, sad, and so on.
Quote:
The time to be concerned about your blood pressure is when you are experiencing a very high or very low bp, especially in a resting state.
Quote:
A high blood pressure to be concerned about is when the systolic (top number) is around 180. If you are reaching that number on a fairly regular basis, it's time to visit the doctor for high blood pressure meds. If you're getting a high number on the bottom (diastolic) in resting state such as 90 to 100, here again, you need to visit the doctor. So a very high number may be 180/90. Extremely high 200/100. These high numbers mean you need to see the doctor immediately and most probable you will be prescribe blood pressure medication.
Quote:
A low blood pressure to be concerned about is just as important as a high blood pressure. Here again if you are getting a low blood pressure on a regular basis, you best see your doctor for medication. A low blood pressure may be 102/58. That's mighty low. If that top number drops below 100, you need to get to the doctor right away.

Bone did not need to be filed in the front but the bone near the tooth he had a tough time removing, did. How they do that is, cut the gum flap, file the bone, plus the gum flap back over the bone and stitch it up. I'd say it probably took him all of two minutes or less to file the bone. I didn't ask him the number of stitches but my guess is about 4. The stitches are the dissolve so no, don't have to remove them.

It seemed so strange to me to have a denture in immediately after extraction. But that is the way they do it.

The bottom plate hurts and my mouth just feels bursting with teeth, like a chipmunk with its' cheeks full of peanuts.

I have the type of smile that my bottom teeth rarely show. You know, you see some people with smiles that display their teeth completely top and bottom. There are people that smile and you see their entire gums too.
I could do without the bottom plate altogether if I want to in regards to appearance.
