Okay lets try out some steps now.
1. Try checking your browser setting for a possible proxy.
For chrome :
Go to
Settings -> Show advanced settings -> In the "Network" section, click Change proxy settings. -> Click LAN settings
Here the checkbox '
Proxy server'should be unchecked.
Similarly do this step for Firefox also.
Go to
Options -> Options -> Advanced -> Network -> Configures how firefox connects to internet -> settings
Make sure
use system proxy settings is selected.
After making sure of these steps are done correctly, again try the IP check
What Is My IP Address? Lookup IP, Hide IP, Change IP, Trace IP and more...
If still showing Uk, there might be other problems such as with ISP or some kind of virus.
Try taking your modem(your phone) and connect to the internet via other computers and laptops and see if you get Uk Ip address or your real IP address.
After connecting with another PC, If you still get Uk IP address then problem is with your ISP(vodafone) if you get it right the problem is with your computer.
Also it's best you send a Ticket to helpdesk to let them know you have this IP problem.
