Let Women Rule The World » Post #9

Sat Apr 09, 2016 18:06 in General Talk

If women ruled the world, politics would be more collegial, businesses would be more productive, and communities would be healthier. More women should lead—not because they are the same as men, but precisely because they are different. .............................For me . it will be ok if few women take me to be their slave [ or pet ] , will not complain

The last century was the bloodiest in human history, and so far, this one has been a tale of war, terrorism, religious extremism, abject poverty, and disease. I’m not saying it’s all men’s fault. But let’s just say, they’ve been in charge, and it doesn’t seem we’re much closer to finding answers to these profound and vexing problems.

Women are traditionally the carers, the collaborators, the peacemakers, the givers, the communicators. Such feminine skills and qualities are precisely the strengths we all need today to face the global challenges of the future: the environment, globalization, preventative and ongoing health care, and feeding an increasing population.
I can’t wait to hear about what you think about this post. Do you see it this way?

Do you smell phantom smoke? » Post #18

Thu Apr 07, 2016 21:48 in General Talk

phantom smell could mean something serious,” says the psychiatrist and nationally recognized smell and taste expert. “It absolutely needs to be evaluated. It could be a tumor – that’s on the top of your list of things to rule out – but it could also be a cyst or some infectious agent housed in the area of the brain where the smell is processed.”

Common olfactory hallucinations include lots of icky odors. Sufferers report smelling hydrogen sulfide (rotten eggs), bad perfume, garbage, a gas leak, wet dog, pungent body odor or spoiled fish or feces. The brain may trigger such sickening odors instead of agreeable ones because humans learned very early to avoid noxious smells for survival.

Trump Wall with Mexico » Post #10

Wed Apr 06, 2016 17:54 in General Talk

just a short summary about Panama papers for folks who like it in short

An unprecedented leak of more than 11 million documents has revealed the hidden financial dealings of some of the world's wealthiest people, as well as 12 current and former world leaders and 128 more politicians and public officials around the world.
Key points:

Investigation reveals data from more than 11 million documents relating to law firm Mossack Fonseca
Leak includes information about world leaders from Russia, Iceland, Ukraine, China and others
Firm's customers have included Ponzi schemers, drug kingpins, tax evaders and a jailed sex offender

More than 200,000 companies, foundations and trusts are contained in the leak of information which came from a little-known but powerful law firm based in Panama called Mossack Fonseca.

The law firm is one of the world's top creators of shell companies, which can be legally used to hide the ownership of assets.

I just read a story that was leaked and then posted by a Steve Pieczenik that explained countries and names, off shore shell companies etc...

You probably could google for it and I don't feel like digging for it right now. Maybe latter, but then again, no one here would probably read it cause it didn't come from MSM Tv news.

I read it ..... Panama paper ... Australia is in to . rip of on grand scale

Trump Wall with Mexico » Post #1

Wed Apr 06, 2016 04:15 in General Talk

Donald Trump said he would force Mexico to pay for a border wall with the United States by blocking Mexican immigrants from sending money back home, the Republican presidential front-runner told The Washington Post in a memo.

This marked the first time Trump has disclosed in detail how he would make good on his promise that Mexico would fund the wall he has promised to build if elected president.

Mexican leaders past and present have scoffed at the idea that their country would pay for the wall.

In the two-page memo to the Post, Trump said he would take the threat off the table if Mexico made "a one-time payment of $5-10 billion." The transfers would be allowed to continue once the wall is funded, Trump said.
