Quote of the day » Post #3023

Wed Nov 30, 2016 15:56 in General Talk

How many times each day do you mean to say one thing, and say another instead, because you’re worried about what others might think ?

How often do you wake up in the morning with one idea in mind for what you want to accomplish, only to find yourself doing something else because of social pressures or personal anxieties ?

Do you dress the way you want to dress ? Do you listen to the music you really like, or do you follow the herd ? Are you working the job of your dreams, or the job of someone else’s dreams ?

In this industrial era, a lot of things are mass produced. It is harder than ever to be yourself when others want you to be mass produced too. But no lifetime, no matter how successful, will be truly rewarding or happy if you cannot learn to love yourself and be yourself. And while it may seem harder than ever now, the idea about being yourself came from famous writers, philosophers, businesspersons, and celebrities throughout history who have struggled to find their identity, just like you.

Ideas on being yourself make it clear that the struggle to determine your own identity and live the life that is most real in your heart is an age-old fight. But just as others have risen to the challenge, you too can learn how to be yourself, standing tall and proud.

Another 2 Kittens killed by Street Dogs... » Post #8

Then make sure that gate is closed at all times and cannot be opened by force.
And when someone opens it then make sure there are no stray dogs around.
The authorities and you could call an animal shelter and ask them for help. Many animal shelters are overcrowded i know but it's still worth a shot. And ask them about what else you should do.
Neutering those dogs is the best option because it solves the problem for the long run, killing those dogs will never solve anything. If you kill one dog then 2 more will take it's place because they will multiply faster then you can kill them.
In other countries this strategy of neutering worked.

Please DO NOT USE RAT POISON ! It takes a long time to die and is very painfull. If you're still not confinced then try giving some rat poison to a friend and see what happens, he will start bleeding from his eyes, ears, nostrils and mouth in agony. The poison destroys inside organs, similar like what the ebola virus does, only difference is that the ebola virus actually liquefies inner organs while rat poison just punches many little tiny holes thru them.

Call and ask your local vet and animal shelter(forget authorities) and ask for the best way on how to deal with this, i'm sure they have a solution that is better then rat poison.

Yes but Rat poison, seriously ? Jesus christ !
It's their nature to be hunters just like cats, you're gonna kill them because of their nature ? Or kill them because they don't have anyone who cares about them ? Or kill them because they are hungry ? OR because we humans screwed up ?

Do you have any idea what rat poison actually does to the human body and how much pain it brings and how long it takes to die from it ?

Sorry but i don't agree with poisoning or shooting or killing of dogs or any animals. No matter for what reason.
Instead why not be different and start your own animal shelter with just 1 helper(yourself) and go from there. Start collecting donations from people and expand your shelter to house more dogs and get more helpers.
I mean why not try to change things for the better without violence or death. Make this world a better place then it is now. Set an example and inspire others to do the same and
Like i said before: "What ever happened to compassion ?"
You can't kill dogs because of their nature to hunt just like you cannot kill homeless people because they are useless to society. Imagine poisoning or killing homeless people, everyone would think you're a monster for doing so.
Then why would it be OK for dogs ? Did anyone ever consider that they attack other animals because they are just hungry ?
If i where living in an area with stray dogs i would never kill or harm them, i would try to find a another way. And wouldn't really care what other people think cause that's my nature, to find another way. Even if it's difficult or hard.
If others kill animals why should you do the same as they ? There is always another solution to any problem.

Just saying that it's not the right thing to do because this world is already as shitty as it can get so why not try and bring some hope and compassion and make this a world a place of pure light as it should be.

The divine comedy by dante alighieri

A while back i saw a documentary of sorts on TV while i was switching between channels, i didn't know what i was watching but it seemed interesting. Later i found out it was called "The Divine comedy".

It scared and fascinated me at the same time, if you haven't read it then i recommend you do.
