If i had a time machine......... » Post #19

Mon Nov 21, 2016 03:33 in General Talk

I guess i would make sure i win at every lottery game ever played and get super rich, after getting rich i would give huge donations to animal shelters and anything that supports animal rights and support all other organisations that help animals. Would keep about 30% of all the hundreds of millions earned from lotteries and donate the rest.
On top of that i would go back in time to where i'm 10 years old and kick myself and tell myself to bring that animal to the vet today and not tomorrow when it's too late

And i would swing by my grandmother also my aunt and say to them "i love you" before they pass away.
And probably undo many evils that happened in this world like whale hunting or seal clubbing, also would make sure that good people like John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr, John Lennon, Gandhi and many more never where assasinated. Wonder what the world would be like if they had survived.

Also "Catmonster was here" would be engraved in big letters on the chest of the Statue of liberty, just for kicks. :D

Couldn't messing around in our past lifes with the help of a time machine change the future and creat a paradox ?
Ever heard of a Paradox Effect ? If someone would be traveling back in time to his own past to make himself rich or to say to a girl yes instead of before no then that could change the future and could create a paradox, meaning maybe someone somewhere would not be born or die in some accident because i changed the past. After changing the past and traveling back to the future the future as i remember it would be different, maybe a different government or poseidon statues everywhere instead of churches or the Teletubby song as a national anthem, hell no.
Remember those movies from back to the future ? They always end up traveling back and forth trying to fix things, after they fix one thing something else needs fixing.
And who wants to spent their entire life traveling back and forth with a time machine just to fix things over and over.
I already have a real job don't need another

First i would buy the Sports Almanac with Complete Sports Statistics from 1950-2000 and go back in time and handover the Sports Almanac to myself and tell myself if anytime anywhere someone starts asking about the Sports Almanc especially a teenager or an old man you know what to do

Yes your right, people should read the other side of the coin, i forgot that i almosty died myself and could have killed two of my friends many years ago as a teen.
Was young and stupid at some point in my life, wanted to drive home very drunk late at night from a party with 2 friends that where inside my car, was driving for a short while, Suddenly the street curved and i went straight into a ditch at high speed, everything was so fast and somehow my car ended up upside down back on the street sliding over that pavement and i remember sparks flying everywhere and a glass beer bottle flying near my face. Beer bottles where made of glass at that time.
All this was just happening in a few seconds but seemed to last for ever.
Then everything suddenly stopped and i thought to myself what the hell just happened, after releasing the belt and opening the door i noticed that my 2 friends where just coming outside aswell and we where all dazzed and confused. When your young you think your immortal until you almost die.
Looking back now it was totally crazy to drive drunk, never made that stupid mistake ever again in my life.
After the accident one friend stayed with me by the wreckage and one went to find a phone, at that time we only had pay phones and no mobile devices like today so my friend was gone for awhile until an ambulance and police arrived. The area where the accident happened was by the country with nothing but farm land all around.
It was something like out of a dream that i never want to experience again. I had a Fiat Taunus at that time, that car is not even produced anymore i think. The most compelling shock is when i realise that my 2 friends and me could have been killed during that accident.
Amazingly my 2 friends only had minor scratches compared to me with a broken foot, had to spent 4 or 5 weeks in the hospital i think.

Nowadays i never ever ever drink and drive, if i drink then i walk easy as that, learned my lesson long ago.
So there you go folks, think before you drink and drive, driving drunk is not cool for sure.

Another good invention is the Baby Mop, don't feel like wiping the floor today ?
Instead let the baby do it for you, just add some soap and give it a little nudge and see the magic happen

valerie wrote: I make a fruit salad often but especially at holidays. It is rather common now but my
grandmother made it when I was growing up so I carried on the tradition you could say.
It's made a variety of ways.

Crushed pineapple, fruit cocktail (mixture of fruit), small curd cottage cheese, cool whip,
and a package of dry orange jello powder. That's pretty much the basic way. I put other
stuff in it such as a jar of cherries, small color marshmallows, pecan pieces, coconut, and
switch up using jello flavors such as green pistachio.

Sounds delicious, now i'm hungry
