I would like to thank ClixSense for the earnings I have received - I only funded $44.00 into ClixSense, and received $342.30 back in cashouts and purchases (ads etc...), so that is really appreciated.

However, it's time for me to go... having a busy life and earning more elsewhere means I don't really have the time to use ClixSense to the best of its abilities. It is nothing against ClixSense, which is one of the best sites in the world, it is just me having to prioritise.

ClixSense was the first site I ever used to earn money on-line, and that introduced me the idea that I've build up over the past couple of years to a point where I'm earning over $1000 a month online.

So, THANK YOU for being the foundation of my future, and I say GOODBYE with the warmest feelings in my heart!!

I tend to choose a few specific squares then random for the rest.

I choose 6x19 and 19x6 to reflect the 6:19 of Rey Mysterio (one of my favourite WWE wrestlers).

I choose 3x13, 6x12, 12x6, 13x3, 25x8 and 28x3 to reflect family birthdays.

Then it's random for the rest.

Agreed, PayPal and others shouldn't police websites, but with a bunch of scamming (you know whats) in the world, I guess it's something they have to do. I mean, if they continually kept getting scammed they would all eventually have to close, and we would have nowhere to cash out our earnings too.

Must admit though, the processors do get it wrong a lot, and as pointed out above (valerie's post) they have frozen the accounts of many legitimate and ethical sites, which causes annoyance and distress to many people.

Many of you may have seen the statement made by the admin of a PTC claiming PayPal was responsible for the closing of his PTC, and that all PTCs would be affected due to PayPal closing the accounts of PTCs.

It led me to posting this topic, but now I wish to reassure you somewhat more, in addition to ClixSense admin and valerie updates.

This information (between the lines below) has come from PayPal (from my Partnership Manager in the UK who I e-mailed when I first saw the statement on the PTC in question) and therefore clarifies the situation to a large degree. Of course, PayPal review their policies all the time, so nothing is guaranteed.

Established sites who have a good relation with PayPal will be unaffected. Of course, if disputes raise PayPal will take action.

No PayPal option should raise your suspicions, but do also take into regard that PayPal is not in every country and sometimes the fees are excessive due to location (e.g. India), meaning PTC site owners may prefer other payment options.

Finally, if a PTC site claims to be in 'PayPal maintenance' you can be sure of one thing... they have had problems with their PayPal account (e.g. too many disputes or funding issues from bank accounts etc...). While these may be temporary, be careful... it could also be the end of that PTC, so avoid depositing funds into that PTC (from any payment processor) until the PayPal option is fully available again.

Your English is fine, and I agree with you that PayPal is acting on the ever-ending creation of scam PTC sites.

It is great that sites like ClixSense continue to meet the tough requirements of PayPal (and other payment processors) and provide us with a great, honest opportunity to earn some money.

Unfortunately my original post was edited, but the statement made by the admin of that site truly raised my concerns and I was worried sick that PayPal were becoming negative in regard to PTC sites. However, the moderator (Valerie) pointed out errors made by the admin of that site while dealing with PayPal and I truly believe the problems were of their own causing rather than PayPal acting against the PTC industry. Of course, ClixSense admin also made a statement which only increases my positivity again, and eliminates the concerns that I had.

Thank you for your detailed explanation, and I note also the post by admin confirming that all is OK in regard to ClixSense and PayPal.

However, I don't wish to be disrespectful (we have had our run-ins before, and I know your views can be very different to mine) but in your response you refer to the information provided by the admin of that site to PayPal as being 'very big mistakes' and 'iffy replies' yet have completely deleted the statement you were referring to. Can I suggest that removing the link and deleting the name of the PTC would have been sufficient, because as you have deleted much more the post now makes no sense and all the replies will now have little meaning as no-one knows what they are referring too.

All my concerns are now eliminated so I have no need to contact the helpdesk.

I also totally agree with you regarding your PS. - Other payment options could have been added, explanations made etc... and the site should have been kept alive instead of going inactive.

In fact, it was only because the site was inactive that I felt it was OK to post the link and statement. Obviously, I was wrong, perhaps you could now lock the topic or even it delete it totally if possible. Thank you.

Some PTC sites, like ClixSense, are run by 100% genuine admin, pay as promised and provide an secure way to earn money online.

However, new PTC sites are springing up on a daily basis, and some of them as well as some longer established sites are not being run by 100% genuine admin, are not paying as promised, but worryingly could prove to be very insecure.

On that basis, I wish to provide some very basic information to help you all stay secure online.

There are two things necessary when joining any PTC site... firstly an account on the PTC site and secondly a payment processor account (e.g. PayPal, Payza, EgoPay etc...).

So, you sign up to a PTC with a username and password, then you provide that PTC site with your payment processor details... lots of people use the same password on the PTC site as they do for their payment processor.

DO NOT DO THIS!!! - If the PTC admin is not genuine, and is really just a scammer they could go as far as signing in to your payment processor account with your password and conducting various activities such as changing bank details and then withdrawing your money or making purchases with your money.

Therefore, please check your payment processor(s) password(s) is/are not the same as the password you use on any PTC. Do not allow non-genuine admin and other scammers to have the opportunity to rip you off.

I trust you realise that 'doing other things' when you clicked the square isn't fair on the advertisers that have paid to be on the grid. If everyone did other things when they clicked the square, no advertiser would ever get a response, and eventually you'd have no advertisers willing to advertise.

Also, as the other sites get more high tech, you will end up getting suspended from them if you carry on 'doing other things' when you should viewing an ad (either PTC or grid). ClixSense already has that protection for the advertiser in place, however they stop you 'doing other things' by forcing you to view the ads, some sites might just suspend you without warning.

Time is valuable... I agree!! Every time you spend 5 seconds on a website, it gives that website a slight boost in it's Alexa/Google rankings, meaning it's valuable for the advertiser.

You have to consider others, rather than just your personal inconvenience.

OK, as someone who has won the top $10 prize on ClixGrid, I have two different opinions on this.

1) ClixGrid is a game of chance, like a lottery, you may win, you may not. I have clicked 8,180 times and won a total of $15.55, and that works out as payment of $0.0019 per click, effectively the same as 2 x 3 second $0.001 PTC ads. All members know there is no payment for ClixGrid clicks but there is a chance of winning, so you play ClixGrid for two reasons... to qualify for the daily bonus and the hope of winning... and not that you actually expect a payment. Winning $0.10 doesn't really mean a lot (it matches 10 x $0.01 PTC ads - approx. 2½ days ad availability), but winning $10 really is a great boost (it matches 1000 x $0.01 PTC ads - approx. 250 days ad availability), so one half of me says leave ClixGrid as it is... no payment but a chance to win!!

However...

2) Clicking multiple ads for no reward can be frustrating, plus you need 20 clicks on the ClixGrid to qualify for the daily bonus, so maybe a token payment should be made, perhaps $0.001 per 20 clicks regardless of winning or not - this would at least give members something back each day, especially those who have not won. Therefore, the other half of me says to add a small payment to reward activity.

I will point out that when I won the $10, $1.20 was added to my daily bonus... this is because wins count towards daily earnings and as a premium member my bonus is 12% of daily earnings. Even a $0.10 win turns into $0.112 because of the bonus.

Of course, if ClixSense did pay 'something' for clicking ClixGrid ads, you'll probably find they would need to reduce something else to cover the costs... as an example, if 3 million members (approx. total members) all clicked 20 ClixGrid ads daily for a payment of $0.001, that would cost $3,000 a day - that money would need to come from somewhere!! So, maybe leaving things as they are is the best policy!!

Agreed... simply qualify for 'Daily Checklist Bonus' every day then find referrals, and ClixSense is truly great for earning.

This proves that ClixSense is a great place to earn money, you just need to be active.

My advice:
1 - Complete the 'Daily Bonus' every day as a minimum.
2 - Try to complete as many tasks/offers as possible and view all PTC ads.
3 - UPGRADE as soon as possible.
4 - Get referrals, then encourage them to do 1, 2 and 3 (above).

Remember, with the 8-level referral programme it only takes you finding 3 good referrals, then encouraging them to do the same to earn you over $9,000 a year on ClixSense.

You have amazing opportunity... DON'T WASTE IT!!!
