Well, I have to say, when I started this topic, I didn't mean for any problems to occur or to see any back and forth that led to problems. I do not post often, so the next time I decide to start a topic, PLEASE someone STOP ME ! LOL
Correct...CS is MLM, but certainly not a Ponzi. As I stated earlier, I think Paypal was accepting of CS because they always paid, as no one could claim they didn't, and they didn't require recruiting or paying to upgrade, which clearly they do not accept. I think they just decided to no longer do business with CS because of all the other PTC's, which were scams.
Not really. They are considered MLM but do not require you to enroll anyone. The product can be an actual physical product or a service, such as the opportunity to earn doing surveys, PTC's, and other means Clixsense has. The legal definition under United States law doesn't specify a physical product to be considered an MLM. I cannot speak for other countries and their legal definition, but in the United States, it doesn't have to be a physical product for sale.
I have been a businessman for several years and just recently sold my business and retired. I was always curious as to why Paypal even did business with Clixsense, because Paypal normally has nothing to do with MLM businesses, which Clixsense technically is. I figured the only reason was that Clixsense always did pay and did not require people to upgrade, which certainly would have caused Paypal to not do business with Clixsense.
I figure that it has to do mostly with all the scam PTC's out there, and this has caused Paypal to tighten it's policies regarding MLM's. I feel it has nothing to do with Clixsense itself. Paypal, along with the other processors have been under heavy scrutiny, since the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States. Processors, since the enactment of the Patriot Act, have had to show the United States Government that they are not allowing money laundering and other financial crimes.
Clixsense has always paid. I personally donate what I earn here to Children's hospital. I do not know the Clixsense owner personally and have never talked with him, but I really do not feel, as has been suggested elsewhere in this forum, that this is the end of Clixsense. I honestly feel that people who are concerned about this, have no reason to feel this way.
I was paid this morning via Paypal....i requested one week ago and there was the weekend plus the New Years day holiday, so it really took about 4 business days.
