Yes there is a lot of talk here about electric vehicles by 2025 even Tesla is trying to get into the market but Elon Musk says taxes are too high in India the Indian government needs to have more investor friendly policies or else China is a better alternative the Indian government has already started telling people not to buy anything from Tesla because Tesla vehicles are too expensive for common Indians,if I buy a Tesla car from abroad and import it the government will charge me 180% duty and other taxes it will be only for the very rich,we need cheaper electric cars that common Indians can afford,we have hybrid cars but electric vehicles is still quite long time ahead due to the need for proper policies there is no infrastructure for electric vehicles no service we dont have any electric vehicle charging stations or service centers for electric vehicles there is only talk nothing else
