Why Royals are not dying ......tasman1 » Post #13

It's the blue blood that makes them immortal.

Our queen smokes between 20-40 cigarettes a day and corona don't stand a chance against her, Corona is something she eats for breakfast.

She might be the key to a vaccine

Let's hope we can find something to treat it with until we have a vaccine, Some experts say that it "could" prove very challenging creating a vaccine for covid 19.

It's all good , But isn't it pretty self-explanatory??

The US would have to in a full lock-down mode as they did, With very strict measures i mean. i dunno? but that will be nearly impossible to do as states are more or less independent to make their own decisions.

So i should just stop eating 2kg of potatoes a day, I finally thought i found a cheap cure.

What about cucumbers??

You're right on the political part of the problem, But too many politicians(and a lot of people) have their heads stuck so deep in a hole that it takes quite a while getting it back up again.

Might i dare to mention Trish regan (i don't even know what to say, But it's sad).

The current opinion here is that it's not harmful for people infected with covid 19, But yes!! they did mention it just to dismiss it 2 days later.

And NO!! Bananas are not harmful either (Only if you eat over 200 a day).

China took drastic measures EARLY and took the threat seriously, much to some people calling their containment methods harsh, they were the first to control the outbreak. They are not quite finished with this yet, and are not out of the woods, but any signs that the number of new cases are going down and bottoming out is good, with only few foreign cases.
China might be on track for a fast recovery BUT, as much as the rest of the world relies on China to some capacity, China also relies on the rest of the world (import / export)......Right now the whole world is nearing a Great Depression if things continue on this path.

It's DISAPPOINTING to see how Europe and America were both ill prepared - for a gd virus ! It seems USA was more prepared and organised dealing with 9/11 than they are dealing with this virus - They should have locked down much earlier, they should have applied Martial Law and order country wide, instead of worrying about what people would think of that. But otherwise making a lock down optional for so long was a mistake, they should have enforced it by ANY means necessary - I mean in times like that you have to set aside the constitution, we are talking about millions of lives and safety of the population. Biggest mistake is that they should have made it mandatory for ALL foreign travelers who arrived to quarantine, NOT make it optional, but quarantine and tested, each one !!!! This virus turned into a pandemic thanks to travelers !!!! They could have contained this gd virus at the source by applying very strict measures at all airports. They didn't, they relied too much on people's GOOD WILL !!!!

NOW it's time for the army to come in with its tanks and artillery - time for LAW AND ORDER and ENFORCING containment, this seems to be the only last resort that will stop the spread, OTHERWISE ? Well millions will die and there will never be an end to this misery.

People are too reliant on an upcoming cure / treatment, THERE WONT BE A GD CURE ! IF there is a vaccine, it will take up to 12-18 months, but likely much sooner, as the big pharmas are under pressure by politicians to rush a vaccine, even if it means gambling with the safety of the population ! People rely on a vaccine to save them, instead of helping collectively stop the spread !!!! They might be in for a disappointment, what will a vaccine do if millions are dead already. In America (including Canada) they will likely make covid19 vaccination mandatory, otherwise put you in jail. Some people will refuse the vaccination due to religious beliefs, things are going to get very ugly soon and it will be general unrest - the situation NOW is the least of our worries, the shit will hit the fan eventually and we are not even close yet.

Any false prophets out there spreading bullshit about cures or that we will be back running within a month or two are just delusional - even in the best case scenarios there is no sign in sight for a flattening of the curve, and maybe in such best of scenarios it could take weeks to months! ...and since when are we living in best case scenarios ?

True that what china did was the right thing!!.

But!! democracies have no experience in handling situations like this that requires authoritarian control by the government to this extent.

Building 2 hospitals which took them under 10 days, would probably take 5 years in my country as no one is able to agree on anything (The first 3 years would be spend arguing)

But it's no surprise that the US has this many cases, It's a huge country.

Best governments can do at the moment is to bury the political war axe and start working together.

A big problem will also be when it starts spreading on the African continent for real, And even if the smaller countries like mine manages to get through this with lesser damage, We will wake up to a world with closed borders.

Good news is that "Maybe" there's a chance that we can use other vaccines to fight it with, Experiments are already being conducted on this.

Yes!!! it's terrible to watch the way things go in Italy, Can't help feeling sorry for them.

But all countries are now more or less on their own, Mysteriously we had 2 deliveries on equipment gone missing on the way from Germany to our country (No one knows what happened???).

Also our health-minister turned down down a handout on masks from South Korea (Idiot).

Ok!!! so now the virus is fake.

let's rebel against a virus and see if it works ;)

The only information i can find on it is that they closed the food markets and also planning to ban people from leaving their homes. I would assume that people are only allowed to leave on certain times of the day if they have get the necessities as food and such.

Just been looking at the stats from Croatia, And yes!! you have a point there.

This sounds absurd and almost like dictatorship.

Raging pandemic?????, You have seen nothing yet (It just started).

But don't worry about me, 2 or even 3 more months is nothing when you have a sufficient supply of toilet-paper.

It really hurts watching Italy at the moment, But it will be worse when Spain, France, Germany and not least the US and UK enters the competition for real.

I really hope that Sweden will be the ones laughing at us all when the storm has taken off, But i fear that their way of handling this crisis will smack them really really hard. Everything is still open in Sweden (Which has around 1700 registered cases) They have not really made any restrictions beside banning gatherings of over 500 people and told the public to adhere to some guide-lines on how to avoid infection.

Here in Denmark numbers are still quite good (Hospitals have no problems at all YET!!!), But we are wandering in the dark and have no idea on the real!! number of infections because they only test the sick and people showing symptoms of it (So far 1300 is registered, 239 is hospitalized, 48 is on intensive care, 32 is in need of a respirator and 13 are dead).

Poll , REAL OR FAKE........tasman1 » Post #4

yes!! exactly Italy is my number 1 concern, I really hope they will soon experience numbers going down, But as it is now it looks like it will burn through until enough citizens reaches a form of herd immunity to it.

Yes!! It's very real, It's also very over hyped by the media, Even our own state have begun creating misinformation to keep people frightened (At least it will cause people to stay indoors)

Well they made a video with a lot of blue men that turned red (It means they get infected) just By walking past the infected!! NO STOP IT GOD DAMMIT.

you don't get infected by standing behind a person or walking by them, This virus is not airborne and falls flat to the ground as soon as it reaches the outside, However it might be able to stick to surfaces for several days.

What all governments fear right now is that it is able to overwhelm their healthcare system just like we see in Italy, And then it can get pretty serious on a global scale.

So far numbers are nothing to panic about in Denmark, A live coverage of traffic-accidents would be more scary.

Toilet paper as a data storage media, now that would be a great invention - potentially to store terabytes of data in a single roll of TP, it would likely be the world's least expensive storage media..... Maybe you are on to something
