Right, so much for transparency huh ? Didn't they learn already ?This is what the WHO and other authorities have done since beginning, feed us BULLSHIT and LIES, until finally they started releasing numbers, more deaths than initially reported, more serious than initially stated, and it took the WHO some time to finally acknowledge that the virus is a world emergency - had they moved their arse much sooner, maybe we would not be in this situation in the first place.

I know right ? Why the F didn't they contain this at the SOURCE, airports FFS, they could have closely monitored incoming and outgoing travel and contained the spread at the bloody source !!! Are they afraid from the fallback of invasion of privacy and such bullshit, it's about time we seriously start reconsidering our freedom, in return for more safety and prosperity around this gd planet. Too much freedom and privacy comes at a high price, people are losing millions of $ off their bloody retirement savings over some stupid virus that should NEVER have gone out of control, which c***s are responsible for this ? Are they going to reimburse all the money lost ? Are they going to make up for all the innocent people who were removed from loved ones ?

Travel and tourism has gone down to sh*te - Probably the most thriving industry out of all this, are funeral homes !!!

It's quite incredible how incompetent we have dealt with the situation, Just read in the news that about a week ago we let passengers on a plane from Italy (the most infected country in Europe) just walk straight into Copenhagen without testing any of them????? (way to go  ).

And oh yes!! the numbers are climbing (Over 600 now), No deaths yet!! and panic mode is already on. super-markets are already being plundered by hundreds of egocentric people which are doing the exact opposite of what they're told to do in a situation like this.

Typically reptile behavior at it's finest, How are things in Canada??? Hopefully citizens over there are showing a bit more respect towards those who are actually trying to follow the basic guide-lines.

Sorry if i'm ranting ;)

There are now over 400 cases in Denmark, But our government are not telling us a shite about where they are.

I assume it's not to create panic among the population, but i would god damn appreciate to know if i should take extra precaution or not ?? (Stupid socialistic crap government).

My main main problem is not so much the number of infected, But more how much our healthcare can cope with.

If it continues this way we will see many elderly infected putting a huge pressure on our hospitals, We can maximum cope with around 500 without neglecting other patients.

Uhm okay, this is a little insane.

We went from 90 cases to 262 since yesterday.

Maybe we have completely underestimated MR Corona.

I agree that the media are causing unnecessary panic, But it's way too early to compare corona-virus with the seasonal flu. Covid19 is far from being as widespread as normal flu and it's only the bottom of the iceberg we are seeing now.

And here we go!!! 90 cases in our little country and still no deaths (Real vikings don't die that easily), Viking helmets are a great way to frighten and repel the corona virus (According to our prime-minister).

Maybe we need to invade Sweden to get our supply of toilet-paper restocked.

But stock in those now, you might make a fortune tomorrow.

I read the anti virus (when ready) will cost between $50 to $100.
They'll make BILLIONS!

On the Walmart website, they stopped home delivery on toilet paper
and wipes, and some other items too. My sister and I was in a Walmart
today....guess what I bought? Yes, I bought toilet paper, wipes, and
Clorox antibacterial cleaning sheets.

One never knows. Better safe than sorry.

So you have become a prepper now??, Congrats :D

Just noticed that we have 20 cases now, But where in the country our government won't tell us.

But again!!

Remember that there is also over 50% that have recovered from the virus (if we can believe the numbers at all)

That's the confirmed cases (at least).

It will also happen here as soon as someone dies of it.

You see!! We are not used to these kinds of situations, No forest fires, No hurricanes, No tsunamis, And that's what people are used to (And nothing gonna change that) At least that's our mindset. (Not always a useful one).

What irritates me is the selfish attitude and not being able to think 2 steps ahead, I'm not in the danger-zone, But my older relatives could be!!!

We need some positive vibes in here.

Remember!! Corona is not just a virus, It's also a refreshing beer.

maybe it's just one big misunderstanding??, 95.000 were tested drunk for drinking corona, And 50.000 are now sober again

funny how it differs from country to country, 15 cases now in Denmark and nothing is closed, Although i did notice a little shortage on some products in the super-market today.

The reason (And that's a very good one) i haven't replied is because i ran out of disinfectants for my keyboard and mouse.

As usual people are downplaying and over-reacting to the situation , And so does the governments that are supposed to prepare for it.

1 case in Australia and people panic.

15 cases in Denmark and people are not even considering it to be on the same level as a normal cold, Except for a few preppers who consider it to be the black plague on stereoids.

Of course there's no cases in North Korea, Nothing comes in, And nothing comes out (Information included).

people are so selfish, And even if you do not take this virus seriously, You could at least think of the older people in your family who is actually a more serious target for this virus.

There will probably be a vaccine before long, I heard that Israel are pretty close, But it will still take +3 months before it is approved.

Yes!! indeed type A and B influenza kills and infects way more on a yearly basis, But if Covid19 was as widespread and integrated globally as the normal types of flu it would infect more than the flu, This is also why China are going completely out of their way to try and contain it as much as possible.

Covid19 has an infection rate of 2-3% (If you can believe the numbers, Flu has a chance of 0.1%, But flu can be much worse while Covid19 is kind of weak.

China has a big problem!!!, When will they announce that everyone can turn back to their everyday life and also lift the quarantines and bans??, If they are not careful they could risk another outbreak, And that will just add to their catastrophic financial situation even more.

Covid19 is like that uncle that always shows up at family events, But no-one want's to have anything to do with.

Corona Virus Man Made to kill old ...tasman1 » Post #20

I think it requires a vaccine to kill it off completely.

It's too infectious and will keep popping up again and again.

Let's just say it's close too impossible killing of a virus like that by starving it in a land that holds 1/5 of the entire population on our planet.

Even though We have 1 case of Corona-virus (Covid19) now.

And the propaganda and mass hysteria has begun - As much as the CASES are growing, people seem to forget that the mortality rate is low compared to other viruses. It's funny that nobody talks about the FLU that kills over 50,000 people every YEAR, and in one country alone, despite Flu vaccines !!! How many people have died of COVID19 vs. those that died from Flu and other viruses, it is negligible. LUCKILY the mortality rate for COVID19 is low (for now), people should be more worried of dying from Flu. Look at the big scare and propaganda they made about bird flu, etc....
Now China seems to have stabilised, less cases, BUT cases growing around the world ....

Of course the markets are sensitive to bad news, be it fake propaganda and hysteria or true news, markets react.
As long as cases are identified and people are put in quarantine and they promote prevention instead of fear, things will work out. Once this mass hysteria subsides and people come to their senses that there are far worse dangers than the coronavirus, things will recover. The whole thing is a big SCAM because bankers and high investors strike it rich during those market corrections - the rest of the population who has no clue, will lose all their money and nest egg...............whilst the rich get richer (those who know how to take advantage of market drops).

If not for INCOMPETENT governments and handling of this virus, this could be over within a few months, but it likely will become a pandemic sooner than later because of panic and bad management.

This year is definitely going to be sh**, and next year, there could be a recession (if the Democrats win it is near certain there will be a recession), but yeah thanks to mass panic and incompetence, they have wiped any chance of growth this year. The only thing that can turn things around is transparency, slowing down of new cases, halting of new cases, a cure, a vaccine, etc. It could take up to a year for a vaccine to be approved, though I think the big pharmas will be in a rush to release something (for $$$$$) at the risk of who knows what. They have lied and kept under wraps the dangerous side effects of a previous vaccine for the previous mass scare flu ! Thank goodness I did not take the vaccine last time.

Good news is majority of people who will get covid-19 will survive. Those who have a weak immune system, and other health conditions are at higher risk, but the risk % is far lower than other viruses. Influenza kills more than half a million people GLOBALLY, 50k in the U.S. alone, and yet people are turning this new virus into a doomsday scenario.

Once they establish that the virus mortality rate is high and that we have a new plague, then we can start to worry,
but when the Flu kills half a million people on earth each year despite vaccines being available, then there is no reason for PANIC and worry, the sky is not falling and the world is not ending yet.

The biggest side effects of this virus is not death, it's stupidity.

Trillions of $ are vanishing, daily, from markets because of the SCARE.

We should be concerned about the virus yes, but not to the extent it is played out to be that results in markets going down 3% every day, and eventually it might reach down to 2008 levels if this continues......ridiculous !

Whenever a country gets new cases, people PANIC Millions population vs. few cases and with a mortality rate that is a fraction of that of the MERS, SARS, Influenza, etc.

Now is a bad time for people to retire :) Who knows how long it will take for markets to go back up, could take a year or more if a recession follows.

I completely agree, Too many have pushed the panic button ;)

I do think that there are more infections in China than they would like to admit, But it is quite infectious compared to the more known strains of the common flu, Not the end of the world (Yet).

Sadly there's also a lot of you-tubers making money on this, Still disappointed about the lack of zombies
