This is why they are issuing at home rapid testing. There is nothing you CAN do, well there is but more on that later. As far as health system, you haven't been to Canada - in some provinces it is really bad, call an ambo and wait 30 minutes to an hour whilst you croak from a heart attack. Some parts of Canada are now back into full lock down and they are not excluding curfews, was about bloody time, the only thing they missed on is having military and tanks on our streets, we need order around here, if people don't wanna follow guidelines, it's time to take hard measures to stop this - otherwise we'll be spending another year worrying about this damn virus.

While 10.000 to 12.000 (Today we are already at 13.000+) sounds like a low number, It's an awful lot for our weak healthcare system already, And everyone knows it wont stop at that number (predictions are saying up to as much as 40.000 daily infections in the middle of January), Remember that we are a small country with barely 6.000.000 citizens. If we scale up to the number of citizens in the US, We would have +- 500.000 infections already.

Our government have spend 2 years doing nothing about it, Instead we have poured all our money into testing around 250.000 daily (At least we have the world record based on population in that category )

It's starting to crack, And it wont be pretty.

3 times a charm innit ? Congrats on your negative test, but be careful, tests can be false negatives - some people are asymptomatic - technically if you test prior to shedding virus, you would test negative - which means people could get infected, do random testing and turn out negative - but a few days later the virus sheds, that's why people who get tested whilst having symptoms are more likely to get positive.

Bloody hell I'm surprised too You must have super immunity. If she had Omicron 100% you would have gotten it, no doubt about that, it's extremely transmissible. She likely either has the original strain or Delta, though Delta is already more transmissible.

Testing before going to a party is risky - you could in theory test negative, BUT somehow you get infected in between - Omicron is extremely contagious - unlike original strain, when an infected person breathes they release so much more virus, it replicates 70 times faster, so being in contact with a person guarantees you will get it, be careful about that.

P.S. This new variant is what will wipe humanity off this earth - it's not an Asteroid, so you don't have to worry about anything hitting the earth anytime soon - what matters is that yourself and all parties in the same room have had their 3rd dose - according to experts, EVERYONE will get infected with Omicron, just like the cold, of course because of the sheer volume, there will be a % of that that will die or get severe complications and hospitalisations even fully vaccinated and boosted - it is the harsh reality - there is no escaping Omicron, only that it hurts to see loved ones, friends, etc, get it - get ready for 2022, Sigma variant is around the corner, this one will be peculiar - it will make you talk in reverse permanently - But no joke, there WILL be a Sigma variant in 2022.

There are very likely a lot of countries with this issue at the moment.

Here in Denmark we negotiate wages and terms with the employee through an union to make sure workers get a decent pay and are not just forced to accept minimum payment from the employee.

They were offered a 5% pay-rise over the next 5 years, But due to inflation it would actually mean they would earn 2% less in total, That offer was of course unacceptable, And they choose to extend the strike.

Normally it's the golden rule that the government does not interfere in the negotiations, But this time they made the strike illegal and fined the nurses daily to force them back too work (That really infuriated a lot of them, No surprise there).

But it is as it is, No-one (and i mean no-one) is following any restrictions, Well actually there are none put in place by law at the moment.

At the same time we have to deal with a very limited capacity at our hospitals, A few months ago our nurses called a strike trying to negotiate better working conditions and a pay-rise to keep up the spirit of an understaffed health-departments which have been under-funded the past 20 years by both a left and right governments, But our politicians decided to ignore them and force them back to work by cancelling the strike by law (Which is completely unheard of).

So now we have a lot of nurses that refuses to work overtime and some of them even quit, This could absolutely go horrible wrong.

Are you living on the same planet as I am ? The vaccines are very effective, they already proved themselves, the problem is, lack of vaccine coverage - the majority of hospitalisations and deaths now in many countries are non vaccinated people - for now.......which is in line with vaccine trials - vaccines work, for now, the problem is if new variants keep showing up, eventually even those who already are fully vaccinated will gradually lose protection, the longer there are outbreaks, the more likely super variants will happen - don't take this lightly, we are in a critical situation - short of making vaccines mandatory, there is no way countries will reach their minimum coverage to ensure herd immunity, no way..........there is no other way out - for now vaccinated people are protected, and right now this pandemic is mostly on non vaccinated people - OR people with only 1 dose - with 1 dose of Pfizer or Moderna you only have less than 40% protection against variants - compared to over 85% with 2nd dose.

So for some strange reason infections are on the rise again, And no one knows why??. What? Oh that's right, The reason is caused by the new delta variant and "DEFENITELY" not because of mass-gathering during the event (Corona is not even aware of the off-side rule, So F... off corona).

Another restriction in which i'm very fond of, Is the new mask restriction that is put in place recently (This will certainly limit the infection rate). Whenever you enter or exit public transportation (Or standing up) you are required to wear a face mask, But it's perfectly alright to sit in a crowded bus along with 100 other travelers, Or sit in a stadium with 30.000 other spectators .

The rules are so ridiculous that only 1 in 5 bothers to wear a mask at all (Including myself)

Not really my cup of tea, Need something more horrific than that

Don't worry Darkstar, It has sound and as i can recall also a tiny amount of dialogue.

Just finished watching the entire library of Friday the 13th in 6 days, You are much better off watching them.


My recommendation if no one has seen it is "Color Out Of Space", Best modern horror in quite a while
