Good suggestions Tas!!

I do think that politicians should have a decent wage given the responsibility they take on their shoulders, But all these extra benefits they have should be cancelled immediately.

I also think we need to regulate differently when it comes to big corporations and their business practices instead of just letting them do as they please, Unregulated capitalism is in my opinion not able to regulate itself when it grows too much.

Another good example is the gaming industry where greed really has taken over when it comes to triple a developers (AAA) where many of the big company's now have implemented microtransactions and gambling mechanics in their games as we know from betting sites (to maximize profit), And it f...... destroys the quality of the game.

Most developers are now actually releasing their games in a more or less broken state cause they're told by their shareholders to do so, And they are to impatient to wait for the game to be tested properly before launch. All these shareholders care about is profit, And by that it means "MORE PROFIT" Not to break even, But to make more than they did last year.

It's about the same concept other big companys are striving for.

One good thing is that the Danish tax agency is actually right now trying to get some of the money back over in the US. Good luck with that!

I think capitalism has become sick and rotten, For industries today it has become a matter of money and only that, The income is expected to grow every year, And only that is seen as acceptable.

How many have heard about the big tax return fraud that hit european countries where Belgium, Norway, Germany, France Denmark etc. got cheated for over 400 billion DKK by foreign crooks that had no right to them. And all the big banks participated "Oh yeah", Not only did they participate!! they've had people dedicated for this purpose only!!.

Do i like capitalism? = Yes, It ensures wealth.
Do i think capitalism is sick = Yes, Greed devours the mind (sadly)

I know i've mentioned Amazon's owner Jeff bezos before, But i think he's a fine example on how money can change you.

Allright, 2 options to choose from here.

You've made it big time and you're making just as much money as Jeff bezos, What would you choose?

1: A healthy vibrant workspace with satisfied employees that you can always count on, And are willing to do more for you if asked politely, Don't worry!! you are still earning a shitload of cash daily, In a matter of fact spending all of them would nearly be impossible (next day you will have the same problem).

2: Gray depressed workers that overworks themselves but still need an extra job to make the ends meet, Lousy wage, Lot's of sick workers, you are a lousy shithole no one likes!!,BUUUUT you're the worlds richest person and money has become just as natural for you as number 8 in Oxygen. CONGRATULATIONS!!

No one want's to pay for others healthcare, Unless it's themselves that needs to visit a hospital for a longer period

And please stop calling Denmark for socialistic, WE ARE NOT SOCIALISTS MR TRUMP.

My sister and I went to see it today but we left about 15 minutes before it was over.
Basically it was the same ole same ole. To be fair, we left before it was over because
it was very cold inside the theater and extremely loud. There was only 8 people.
Most were upstairs watching probably A Star Is Born (lady ga ga and Cooper).

I had actually planned watching it in a couple of days (31 of October) at the cinema, :?: Maybe i should reconsider.

But again as you said, Halloween is Halloween and there's not much differentiating them, Except Michael's physical appearence, In the 2nd one he's a giant (boy is he huge), And in nr 5 he's quite small in comparison :D .

Geeeez the 3rd one is baaaad (season of the witch), It might be different but christ!! the acting is laughable (2 cups of coffee weren't enough).

Good thing is that the sidewalk is much much bigger than your house, Fresh air and plenty of space at the same time.

Funny thing is she said she never watches horror movies but that is
basically how she got her start in movies (by acting in them).

Is it also the same actor who plays as Michael myers?

And who is it anyway??

The charachter that scared me the most as a kid was defenitely Freddy krueger, The nightmare on Elm street series scared me half to death back then.

Ah okay, Australian movies are crap then.

Asian action movies :D , It's a tradition in Denmark to watch a badly choreographed Chinese/Japanese kung-fu movie with a good hangover ;)

These are not completely new, But still i think they're worth a watch (They went pretty off the radar)

Please stand by (2017) Watched this by accident, And it turned out to be a quite quirky weird one, Dakota Fanning does a pretty good job playing an autistic woman.

Gone are the days (2018) A western, And definitely NOT!!! the usual run off the mill.

Land of mine (2017) A Danish movie where they almost only speak German, A movie on how the young German soldiers wer'e treated like garbage by Danish officers and forced to remove mines as a punishment after the end of the second world war (If you can find it with english subtitle) or you understand German.

And then all the nasty stuff.

Ghost stories (2017)
Maggie (2015) Arnold Schwarzenegger in a zombie movie, And a pretty sad one.
Mom and Dad (2017) When parents go mad (With Nicolas Cage)
Unsane (2018) Psychic stuff.
Geralds Game (2017) A man dies of a heart-attack after sex while his wife is hand-cuffed to their bed, That's the whole plot.
Cell (2016), A cure for smartphone addiction

valerie wrote: I always find that kind of odd and I also think it is cruel.

There is 868 people out there that could use 1 million dollars.

In other words, why give 868 million to one or two winners when lots of
other people are in need!

Of course I realize not all of that goes to the winner/winners due to TAX.

That's the spirit

High level of service in Denmark.

If you think about it, you actually pay more.......Don't forget the goods and services + taxes you pay when you order online or buy offline, so that adds up too.

I know that, But that has nothing to do with the healthcare services.

Yes services like shipping are really expensive outside the EU, Unless you order for less than 80 DKK excluding shipping.
