It is not strange , nobody come here , only 2 retailers , only one power company , one bus company and much more , one ferry company , not to mention everything cost 50-100% more

Govt try to bring few migrants but they all run to mainland , they call us poor comunist

heck , it looks like bad communist shit here

Will Dollar General ever come here ? no way , they will preffer harakiri

I always thought you were exaggerating a bit Tas!!, But after a bit of research it seems that Tasmania ranks bottom in nearly every aspect in Australia.

But that's exactly why Aldi should open stores in Tasmania, With a poverty rate above 14% it would perfect for them to settle in Tasmania. If people are poor they need cheap groceries.

Actually i think it's stupid of them not opening over there.

They say problem is population , only 500 000 people are here and no increase for last 40-50 years [ tasmania is not that smal ]

I've just been on a trip to Tasmania on Google maps, And no it's actually larger than i thought.

And also Hobart dosn't look like a poor city to me, It actually looks quite nice.

How many McDonald employee working in Denmark since you minimum wage over 20 dollars an hour?

Do you see more kioks in your country?

20 bucks an hour is not even considered high in Denmark, It's quite low compared to other jobs.

I don't know exactly how many employees are hired in their restaurants, But in Copenhagen i would guess it's around 8-12 employees at each location.

And there's still no kiosks for MC Donald over here, Only drive thru.

What sets us apart from the US is that we have strong unions that negotiates fair wages for the workers for a low annual fee.

Actually we just had Wage negotiations for the workers in our public sector (700.000 angry workers threatened to strike), Now they earn the same as those in the private sector.

But grocery prices are still to expensive in the US.

I heard Aldi have started to expand in North-America, If you want low prices go see one (If it's possible of course) Don't know how many there are.

Expect lousy service and sour faces :D

Is America dream is dead? » Post #17

It pretty much sums up my view on USA as well.

USA, A country where independency plays the biggest role in society, And you are your own responsebility whether you are doing well or not.

When i visit the states i see a closer connection between citizens and a lot more willingness to help and support each other(Especially in smaller communities), In Denmark we pretty much ask our municipality for help in all cases before considering anything else.

And US citizens also tends to have a little (Sometimes bigger) paranoia of the state, Which have to be as tiny as possible to not interfere with their personal freedom.

What are the social benefits in the US?, I would guess it differs from state to state, But an average?

Good question Sweetpie?? besides it's a bit vague, What is the American or US dream to you??

My Danish dream is that we can maintain a wealthfare system which helps those in need, And when they need it.

But times are surely changing, The big political theme in Denmark right now is Public vs private wages and how much difference there should be between them (Nurses, Doctors, Teachers in the public sector) vs (Nurses, Doctors, Teachers in the private sector), Should public wages rise as much as the private ones (They're doing the same job) or should they be independant of each other.

So a major strike is announced in the middle of next month and much of our public infrastructure will come to a halt if they're unable to agree.

Our government has also decided to side with the Employers on this matter and declare a lockout on all of the employees in the public sector if they don't reach an agreement (That means no work, no wage) for all of them.

Final opinion ........ very good if you do not cash out small money , for me I normaly do cash out at 200-300.00 , only this cash out was smaller [ 70.00] just for start to see how it is going

ClixSense Rejoin to Paypal » Post #15

No Paypal is not a scam in my eyes, Instead they're blind idiots who puts everyone under the same roof.

With Paypal i feel safe compared to the other payment processors who want you to hand over your personal id (It's id theft and they don't need it), I have no problem with validating my credit card (That's ok), But the rest is BS.

What is the Biggest Hoax? » Post #11

Gambling sites are a big problem and way too many are getting addicted from them, And way to many are completely unregulated and a direct scam.

80% of all Danish Tv-commercials consists of Gambling/betting sites and loan companies, You'll need them when all of your money is gone.

Most of the loan companies are of course off-shore hiding somewhere in Malta/cyprus, Raking in cash with an annual percentage rate of up to 500-600% (They are even completely legit), They should be banned as they are no better than the gambling sites.

And christ, There are so many of them.

reverse mortgage ... good and bad

good and bad , more money to have better life , you do not pay but usually nothing will be left for your children once you are gone

ps ...if you paid at some stage extra in your mortgage and have a redraw facility that will be much better solution

Hi Tas.

Is it Aus dollar or American?, Well anyways it's good to know that you're more financial secure now (You've been complaining about it quite a lot ;) )

If Clixsense is going to survive they'll probably have to make their own payment-processor.

Cause the other ones are just dying one by one

Hi again Micshad.

Have you tried an unexpected reboot? (Just kidding) :D

From what i can understand Xnfinity (Comcast) might not have the best signals in your area.

Have you tried a Mobile-broadband solution? (A 4G connection perhaps?)

If you only do Clixsense stuff and light internet surfing, 3G should be sufficient.

When i had to verify my Skrill account, They withdrew a small amount from it.

Then i had to write that exact amount to verify my account, Their terms are pretty vague and from what i can determine they will require more validation once you have withdrawn a certain amount to your bank account.

They have been very reliable in my case (Can only complain about their high fees), Last time it only took 3 days to transfer them from Clixsense to my bank (I was quite surprised actually).

You can also make use of Clixsense's new payment system through Transferwise, Give Clixsense your IBAN from your bank and Clixsense will use their TW account to transfer them to your bank-account.

That's what i'm going to do
