Dang!! My External hard-drive is corrupted. » Post #1

Wed Dec 06, 2017 03:08 in General Talk

Hi all of you sexy Clixsensers.

Damn, i have 1.8 TB of lovely movies and series on a Samsung external hard-drive, And i can't access it anymore as it's most likely corrupted.

I've been troubleshotting my usb ports, tried updating all my drivers (Including reinstalling them) and ran chkdsk from the command prompt in an attempt to fix it, Sadly to no avail as it somehow get's stuck at stage 2 (took only 3 hours to find out).

It's shown under devices and printers and it also shows up in device management under disk-drives, Which probably means that it's the hard-drive that's faulty and not a windows bug/error.

Can any of you recommend a good recovery-program you've had a good experience with?

I need that data back or i'll be crying for the next 3 months  , Yesterday i even looked out the window (It was scary)

Tried asking microsoft community, And as usual they don't know anything

I just negotiated a new price for my mobile-broadband subscription.

My previous one was 100 gb data a month for $30, Told them i found a better offer elsewhere (Lie)

Then they offered me 100 gb for $20.

Reminded them that it was black Friday, And ended up with 200 gb a month for $20

That's customer service $10 off and 100 gb more of data :D

YES that is the name! You wouldn't believe how much time I spent on
Google last night try to find it. Difficult without a name or name of the
actors.

I do recall reading on a youtube trailer that it wasn't very good but I
wanted to see it.

Thank you. :P

No problem.

I don't think it's that bad, I had a good time watching it.

Mr Walrus :D

There's a couple in Jylland (Denmark) called Tarm and Lem (Actually there's a lot of them)

Tarm in Danish means Gut/Intestine, And lem means basically Willie/pecker.

A couple of months ago there wer'e a soccer match between them, So it was : Gut vs willie ( can't remember who won)

This would never happen in American Football (NFL) :D

Has this happened to you. » Post #2

Thu Oct 26, 2017 06:42 in General Talk

It's been pretty bad for me too.

5 days with no earnings, Yesterday i had a survey about gaming equipment ($0.85).

This was defenitely aimed at me, But for some weird reason i was kicked out when it reached 75% (Bummer).

Still i think im going to earn a bit more than last year, But that's only due to the first 6 months of this year.

I'm sure it's related to the poor Danish summer, Those responsible for the surveys has contracted severe depression (Must be the cause).

BTW: Tapwater is much better for you than beer, And real carpenter's are way better at fixing stuff than the fake ones (In your head).

Reason for this complaint is that it often attract surveys

I feel stupid.How to copy & paste with Windows10? » Post #2

Sat Oct 14, 2017 04:23 in General Talk

Hi Micshad, And welcome to Windows spyware 10 (Just kidding)

If it's text you want to copy, place your mouse pointer infont or behind the text you want to copy, Hold left mouse button down and move your mouse up/down/left/right to mark it, If it's a single line just do a double click with the left mouse button somewhere in the text of the line.

Rigt click somewhere on the marked area and select copy, Just right click in the search field or notepad (Whereever you want it copied) and select paste.

If you drag files/folders with the right mouse button to where you want them moved, You can select to move/copy them when you let go of the mouse button again.

Don't worry, You can still use Chrome on Windows 10.
