More than $120 withdrawn in less than two months. ClixSense is amazing

List of withdrawals:

(I guess that $0.01 transfer was used to verify my account or something, as it arrived in my PayPal before my first actual payment. So, I guess that makes it six payments and $123.01 in total :D)

Post Your Daily Checklist Bonus » Post #3909

Wed Apr 08, 2015 06:55 in Your Stats

Looking very good today:

Congrats! The checklist is completed!
Your bonus is currently standing at: $4.9571

It would be even better, but I'm missing the Activity bonus because I couldn't complete the Checklist on Sunday and Monday (not enough tasks/offers I could complete) :(

New Pictures in ClixGrid » Post #2

I didn't even notice. I'm always too preoccupied making symmetric patterns on the grid with my clicks. Winning extra clicks can really mess up my plans

This is what my grid usually looks like after I'm done clicking (I've been trying to come up with more interesting variations lately):

how to get direct refferals » Post #2

Wed Apr 08, 2015 06:38 in General Talk

There's no magic way to get direct referrals, you'll just have to promote this site and hope that some fishes catch the hook (so to speak).

I would stay away from any site that sells direct referrals for two reasons: 1) it's forbidden by ClixSense, and 2) the sold referrals are usually not real people (they're just someone creating new accounts, maybe being active for a day or two and then never coming back -- they may even be automated bots and not people at all).

Being creative when promoting ClixSense helps. I use several PTC sites and all of them have ClixSense ads every day, but almost all of them are just referral links to the ClixSense main page or one of the splash pages ClixSense has. I'm quite sure every who clicks ads on PTC sites has seen those dozens or even hundreds of time and those ads are probably not going to be very effective.

It's possible to make referral links to forum posts (look for a small button left of your username that looks like links of a chain) and one way to try to stand out from the crown is to post a success story on the forum and linking to that when advertising.

Many people also make blogs to promote sites like ClixSense and they advertise them instead of the site itself. I've even seen "blogs" that have just one page: a short guide on how to earn at ClixSense and a referral link to join this site

Tell me your premium member experience » Post #22

It depends a lot on what you earn and how often you complete the Daily Checklist.

For me even the extra guaranteed ads will significantly help pay back the cost of premium. I used to get only one or sometimes rarely two standard ads (30 seconds, worth $0.01 per click) per day and now I get at least four every day. I don't know if it's true, but I read somewhere on the forum that the extra ads are always standard ads and it seems to be true at least for me. (Of course, if you already get several standard ads/day, it probably doesn't make a difference).

Just from this I get extra $0.03 per day, which is more than half the cost of premium if I'm active every day of my membership.

But even disregarding that, the extra I get in bonuses will pay premium back to me very soon, if I continue earning like I've done in the last two weeks: I just did a quick, rough calculation and the higher Checklist bonus has already earned me about $7 and I've had premium for just two weeks.

But as they say: your mileage may vary.

(I also have a few referrals, but the commissions I've earned so far don't really make much of a difference. Premium or not, it would be just few cents.)

What music/song are you listening now? » Post #455

I particularly like this one:

Within Temptation - Ice Queen

It's been a while since I've listened to Within Temptation and that's one of my favourite songs from them. Thanks!

This live version of Somewhere with Anneke van Giersbergen is also amazing: two great singers in one.

Lately I've listened to Nightwish's newest album (Endless Forms Most Beautiful) a lot and Floor Jansen is another brilliant Dutch singer. Seriously, where do all these awesome Dutch singers come from? Are they actually aliens in disguise who try to take over the world with beautiful music?

Do I win the unluckiest ClixGrid clicker award?

Or is there someone with even worse luck?

What is the best way for non UK/US members to earn » Post #5

Sun Apr 05, 2015 03:27 in General Talk

I have earned most from offers. I get very few surveys (about two or three per week on average and even for those I'm often not in the target demographics), but I assume many of the offers are targeted much more globally.

Tasks are another good potential source of income (assuming you have no trouble completing tasks that are in English), but I still haven't managed to get enough tasks with test questions to qualify for levels 1 to 3 on CrowdFlower. Currently my accuracy would be enough for level 2 (and I've been extra careful lately with the test questions to hopefully improve that), but it's been a while since I've received any tasks with test questions :(

Tasks also come in many languages: just recently there was a job with huge bunch of tasks in Japanese and the pay for those was really good compared to most tasks I've seen/completed. That really made me wish I hadn't dropped my Japanese studies all those years ago...

So, knowing an extra language or two can be of help with the tasks.

First cash prize in ClixGrid - finally! » Post #1

Sat Apr 04, 2015 07:32 in Success Stories

I've won extra chances several times, including once today, but it took me 954 clicks to get my first cash prize.

I'm a bit sad I didn't get to 1000 clicks without a cash prize. I thought I had a deal with the grid: I'll have the patience to click 1000 times without cash prize and then I'll win $10.00 on my 1001st click! But the grid seems to have betrayed me

Yaaay. I won $1.00 on Clixgrid today!!! » Post #6

Mon Mar 30, 2015 10:21 in Success Stories

Congrats. I've made 650 clicks and the only thing I've won have been extra clicks. I wonder if I can get to 1000 clicks before winning a cash prize

The day I decided to go premium » Post #1

Mon Mar 30, 2015 08:28 in Success Stories

I'll let the numbers speak for themselves:

$57 in a single day! And that doesn't even include the checklist bonus, which added another $3 for a total of over $60. I also completed another high-paying offer that day, but I haven't received credit for it yet -- hopefully the issue will be cleared soon. See edit below.

I've been using this site on and off for a while, and even before this I've earned enough money to make it worth my time here, but this was the first time I decided to try some of the higher paying offers that required signing up and such. Some of them also required me to spend some money and I'm usually very careful about that on the Internet, but the offers were for things that I was interested in anyway, so the only risk was not getting credit for the offers.

I know it won't be like this every day, but I'm confident that the $17 I spent on the premium will pay itself back soon -- I'll just have to continue being active on this site. Living in a small country, I don't get many surveys, but the offers and tasks should be enough to keep me busy for now ;)

Thanks for reading and thanks to ClixSense for this awesome site.

Edit: one of the offers was credited to me just today:

With this my total earnings are well over $100 once I get credit for the offers that are "pending". Amazing
