Clixsense updated their terms back in March to include the following:

Business Transitions
In the event ClixSense goes through a business transition, such as a merger, consolidation, restructuring, acquisition by another company, sale or assignment of rights or assets or a portion thereof, or other company change, we may transfer users’ information, including Personal Information, and other collected business data in connection with that business transition (e.g., to a subsequent owner, co-owner, or operator of ClixSense and Features, or any affiliates and trusted agents, service providers, or partners of the foregoing), including during the course of any due diligence process.

It was fairly obvious something like this was in the pipeline since that being added to the terms all of a sudden almost signals a change is on its way of what it was pretty much implying....that a business transaction was taking place, just sort of indirectly... which is a little sneaky. I think you also had to accept the new agreement for those terms...can't remember.

When I saw the announcement in March, I even thought CS was already sold :D There are other clues outside the site that lead me to believe an acquisition was likely underway. This is not the first time CS changes owners, the first time they changed the site became better, so even those of us who were already suspicious that CS was going to get sold eventually, never did we expect its launch to be so bad - I had my theories as to who would likely buy CS, and when I saw the company that did, and the site that it owns, this is when my optimism has gone down to nil.

Understandable that site is not finished and stuff will be added gradually, but the surveys, seem to target more US now, the invites are WORSE than before.

Yeah, when I was told who the site is owned by now. I wasn't exactly pleased about it. Since I don't even use their other site very much any more, but we'll see how this goes. I kind of believe a lot of people may abandon this site now or stop by very infrequently, I'm likely to be one of them. Though that was already the case for me a while back.

[Question] Canadian Dollars? » Post #2

The cheque is sent in USD.

I believe the gift cards through the Tango option will be in Canadian currency.

If Mastercard is an option for you through Tango I believe that's Canadian currency also and if you have the VISA option through Tango too, that's in USD currency.

He probably has a house full of children and has now decided he's anti natalist.

Also, I bet he was quite happy when his parents kept a roof over his head and made sure he was fed and clothed and bathed until the day he moved out. They gave him life and if they were the ones who nurtured him from birth to whatever age, it's about time he showed more respect and gratitude.

He's 27 years old too, took him long enough to sue.

It also frustrates me how people like this guy are able to create new life when there are people in this world who cannot do so and don't have the physical capabilities, etc to do so.

Probably a bit extreme there Valerie.

To practice what he's preaching would simply be to not have children and simple contraceptive means will take care of that.

He's allowed to feel what he feels.

His feelings or views are allowed to change towards anything in life, be it surveys or Clixsense as a whole.

If one man's feelings and views changing towards this site frustrates you then that is with respect, your problem... not his. You might love Clixsense, but it doesn't mean he has to or that his outlook on the site can't change from how he used to feel about it.

tasman1 wrote: Frozen Survey Solution
You start a survey and bang , survey frozen , heck what now

If you think this can happen to you please send a blanket to survey company before you start doing it and vola , problem solved , they will never send you frozen survey again

Good luck

Is that because they're too busy preparing a blanket fort / den with all those blankets, they forget to send out any surveys?

by the way , we're not all related lol  and I deny any knowledge of that woman in the lizard skin pants ...

If the lady in the lizard skin pants happens to be blonde and looks remarkably similar to a sister of yours. I don't think this is coincidental. He's now trying to get rid of the blonde and requires your help, you being related and all.
