Well, not so fun here today, mice have chewed a power cord for me, hate them for it.

So now they will not get more expensive fine cheese by me in rat traps any more, when they are so ungrateful.

For then i know that i will feel bad and today i want to be able to think about things a little nicer.

However, i think that birds are a bit dodgy, when they put their feces on my car, but they just bully me all the time and i have not done them any harm ...

And this will happen with Win 7 also sooner or later.

What killed it wasn't really end of support - it was Heartbleed. There is no longer any safe SSL configuration for Windows XP. It's true that with support XP would still exist, but it would also have continued to exist without support if it wasn't for Heartbleed - which is, depending on your point of view, either the most, or the second most devastating vulnerability of all time.

Windows 7 has security updates until 2020, and after that, it's going to take a massive problem like Heartbleed to finish it off. Even something like ImageTragick wouldn't kill it - because that was all server side.

So yeah, you'll eventually have to update, but you've five to ten years - and by that time, Valve should have made other OSs viable, even if you're a gamer. Don't think it can't happen - most of you are already using Linux on your phones and in your TVs.

You have so scary right all the time.

Btw, i stopped playing games on my PC for almost a year ago.

So hard to constantly keep up with the PC performance demands all the time.

For years i kept on changing motherboards and graphics cards etc all the time, just to get some speed on newer games and it is expensive also in the long run.

So against all my principles, i went and bought a game console ( shudder of just the name )

Xbox One had just been launched in Sweden, but i still chose to buy the Xbox 360.

This is because the second-hand market of games for the Xbox 360 was huge, so prices on Xbox games could decide my choice.

If anyone wonders, which i do not suppose, so i only play FPS and car racing games, of course, with the Thrustmaster Ferrari steering wheel, what else, run car racing with hand controls sucks.

It is probably a wise decision.

In the meanwhile, Microsoft will have time to fix them most of the bugs in Win 10

So when it's your turn to upgrade, then Win 10 mabye have been a better option.

For sooner or later you will have to upgrade your OS and it could be the day that Microsoft will stop upgrading Win 7, we will be there even if we do not want it.

In Win 10 i can no longer drag shortcuts to the desktop with the right mouse button, as i could do earlier.

Or is it just my brain has started to shrink.

@ walkinganomaly

It's true, you should never try to fix something that is not broken.

But sooner or later, so you still have to switch operating systems.

As in my case, i was pleased with my Win XP, but my bank began to complain about at my XP started to become a security risk, because Microsoft no longer upgrade it and i was then forced to upgrade to Win 8.1

And this will happen with Win 7 also sooner or later.

But it might in some cases be good not to upgrade their operating system forren you have to do it, because if you are happy and everything is working well so there was no reason to change it.

It is certainly my opinion...

I was already happy with my Win 8.1 but got greedy when i could get the Win 10 absolutely free.

So my brain tricked me greatly at the time... :P

I also don't ''hate'' Microsoft ( coughing )

I upgraded from Win 8.1 to 10 and have not had any problems with it on my ASUS Vivo computer.

To upgrade from Win 7 to 10 should not be any problems, as long as the hardware in your computer is compatible, as i see it.

As i understand it all, so did all that had Win 8.1 get a free upgrage to Win 10, but this offer is valid also for Win 7 then ??

My absolutely all first Windows was shipped on a 1MB floppy disc, i think that was called Win 3.1, but it is around 20 years ago now.

The best Windows i've had was Win 98, Win 95 was quite okay as well, but Win 2000 is probably the worst i have experienced ( The Blue Screen Version )

( I do not even want to think about Win Vista, it makes me aggressive )

I bought incidentally my first computer in 1979, a Comodore Vic 20, then it was an Atari 800 ( which was only available at office stores ), then a ATARI 1050,then a ATARI ST520 and so on.

( Got a nostalgia trip here :-)

Yes, in my country it's getting expensive for smokers but buying alcohol is cheap altough it's just as or more unhealthy then ciragettes.

Weird World Politics = Alcohol is O.K. but cigarettes are evil :|

Also here in Sweden, are they arguing it if it is harmful to others if you smoke outdoors.

Alcohol can be even more damaging to others, as a rule, no smokers begins to turn on each other when they have smoke a cigarette.
