people should live off the grid more, stay healthy, eat fresh and natural resources should be used where possible.

i guess its very difficult for many ppl to live a very simple life now because they have had it so good and easy for a longtime now,had computers and phones not been invented no one would have known any different but coz they are part of everyone's life now its hard to let go.

its just like anything in life, once you get used to it and see the benefits of it,its hard to live without it.

being in debt is not not a good thing, trying to get out of it means working endlessly, sleepless nights, worry, anxiety, depression and all the rest.
in the olden days life was better, you just got by on what you basically had and ppl survived, didn't they?
this new age of technology, latest smartphones, sporty cars, gucci bags and chanel perfumes are just all luxury items which we can really do without but we want them,we DONT need them.

The world started off with Adam and Eve in a few animal skins i guess, nowt to their name, now look at the world? we have made something out of nothing basically and are continuing to do so,,,,,,,,,,,,when will technology reach its peak?

as long as things keep improving and being introduced on the market, peoples desires will become greater and so will the credit and so will the never ending debt.

yeah roosters are a pain in da butt trust me,had a rooster used to wake us up in the crack of dawn,my husband got so fed up one day ,he said right im going to get him then you cook him later,i persuaded him not too coz i did find it a bit cruel,an animal you have kept for sometime will end up on the dinner table so Mr rooster had a few more months of frollicking before i ended up one morning saying to my hubby,go and get him i had enuf.................... it took a good while to catch the bugger coz i think he knew he had it coming, eventually by the time i got up,my husband had it all plucked and chopped ,ready for a nice chicken curry :D

i had a pet duck called polly some years ago,i remember bringing her back in my car, perched on my lap she was,did a little wet poo, which i didnt mind coz poor thing was so excited being in a car :D

anyway sad ending for her, some wretched mongrel got hold of her and half ate her :x never got a bird after that, just too paranoid now incase it happens again but she lived quite a while with us,had her own swimming pool and toys.

SUPERSTITION » Post #3

Tue Apr 04, 2017 04:25 in General Talk

yep i agree arvind ,dogs and cats and many other animals can sense danger that humans cant.
for example i watched a documentary several years ago on earthquakes, the one i am refering to was in Japan,a guy was on his smartphone, apparently in the office with his workmates and generally filming having a good time,in the office there were fish in a tank but something unusual was happening, the fish were swimming back and forth quite frantically and very uneasy atmosphere was appearing.in a matter of minutes the building floors were shaking and and everyone was rushing towards the exit.
i think this is a pretty good sign, also beached whales, dolphins, birds flying in large numbers or any animal that is just acting kinda weird, not itself should be taken seriously and not ignored.

i am pretty superstitious but i need signals.
