Very sad and bad news today » Post #15

Wed May 17, 2017 05:39 in General Talk

i dont know why humans would harm any animal,,its not exactly that they are up against it or competing against it!

any person harming, killing ,abusing or even hating animals has a heart of steel,,,no remorse,no emotion and above all no consideration for any kind for life!
these people should be burnt at the stake...

i remember when i was young,a friend of ours gave us an alsation puppy,it stayed with us for about a year, named it sheeba, was a long haired alsation, beautiful she was,so cute, anywayz one day i returned from school, sheeba had gone,i asked my mum where she was she said she didnt know,i knew she was lying, she was never a lover of animals,it just that me and my bros and sisters insisted on having her that she eventually let in...anyway later i found out my uncle conspired with my mum and they took the alsation in the car and drove somewhere far and left her

i just hoped someone would find her and take her in,i was too young to do anything, all i could do was cry.

anywayz cut along story short,if you dont like animals you are in humane :!:

I noticed my neighbor 2 days ago next to my fence and never once did I think they would do the unthinkable. They however did. They threw food in my yard with anti freeze in it. Today I lost my baby. I am very lucky though that I didn't have chickens eating the food otherwise I would have lost my whole flock. I got major at the age of 4 weeks and he fit in my hand. I brought him up to the age of 5 months so for 4 months I was his mom and we loved each other just like a real mom and child do.

If I decide to get another dog it will be a full grown pitbull. that will tear anyone apart if they try to come through my gate or reach over the fence. Major was our second dog in a year that the neighbors had messed with the first one Jack they beat to the point to where he was terrified of people, then they left my gate open and when I came home not only had we been robbed, but the dog was outside running up and down the road. I thought the Catahula was my best choice for a guard dog, companion and for protection of the flock. Major never got the chance to be all of that. :( Jack is at my husbands now and enjoys it and now has no trust issues since he is away from here. However if I brought him back I am sure it would go back to the snarling at all of us again, and the night terror dreams again. He just was hurt so bad here that we had to let him go to my ex husbands to keep him safe.

really sorryto hear about the loss of your dog hlrive
flippin cruel what that neighbour did,you should report him to to the cops, behind bars he shud be! :x

why waste food? » Post #6

Tue May 16, 2017 08:58 in General Talk

i think if more people became self sufficient then they would value their food more,,,less waste more nutritious and obviously fresh from their garden or plot.

some countries produce far too much and food mountains are just piled too high,,this food should be sold to third world countries for a very low rate or free at least if the other party pays the shipping cost.

what puzzles me is millions is given in charity to thousands of people ,why not give them the surplus food?

weird world and politics and mentality of manufacturers

I would like to give with my own opinion about a family Especially Today is a WORLD FAMILY DAY...In regards about a family in our country...( Philippines )...I would say we have a closed family ties....We have 2 types of family....An EXTENDED family And NUCLEAR family...Those family has their own way to raised with their respective children where in the head of a family ( Father/husband ) is the main source /A good provider for their home...Where in he is the one who work for their family who provides the foods..medicines..shelters..educations for their wife & children as well...Then the light of a family ( Mother/wife )is the one who taken cared the children while the husband/father is not around...She is the person who descipline the kids/children to became a responsible..loving..caring..and God fearing in our society...But Both Father & Mother has the greatest influenced for their children to became a role model in our society....It is showed their good attitudes to the people around them through the upbringing on their parents....They can interacted outsides of their home for being a respective children & God fearing one...A Parents is the main source of strength for their children ..They molded them while they are still a smaller kids so that when they were became a parents also ..They brought it what their parents imparted a knowledge for them...Then Every Family around the world had a different kind of styles in how to raised their respective kids/children....We should respect on them If Their parents are a quiet strict and disciplinarians because They brought it with their parents as well....Some of them brought for being a conservative children/person because They raised on it with their traditional way then The other one for being a liberated children because they get on it with their parents who showed to became a liberal mind at all....Many instances that can be influenced for their children in our society And It should be kept the family intact in order the children would growing up to became a good and God fearing in our society as well...

what a lovely post dear and i agree with you all the way to Manilla :D

well i have mixed opinions on this, not all families are the same, some parents being strict bring up their kids with principals and morals,,other families where hubby is a druggie and wife an alcoholic, well im sure you know where i am going,,so support for off spring varies from family to family,

i do agree though the family is where the foundations for a childs well being stem from but that all depends on how your family is.
even people outside family can do better jobs to bring kids up....

alot of kids come from broken homes, uncaring parents,no solidarity no union etc etc,,on top of that a vulnerable soul has then got to deal with this unpredictable society, getting into the wrong crowd,stealing,drug/alcohol abuse.....

even rich kids end up having bad habits coz their parents have also neglected them,,,too busy making money :?

They stroke down on the critics of the movement and muted them the hard way . If you can sell the idea and get the followers there will be no way to stop you and your followers , the followers will multiply if they see you are successful .

hyldig wrote: I slightly disagree with you Pindo . Try watching the Shot movie The Wave from 1981 . The teacher was asked how the greatest leaders became who the were and as fast as they did . He makes the students create the movement the Wave and have them go recruit members to show them how easy it is done . The movie is actually terrifying since the expiriment totally loses control and the movement The Wave is turning into a world domination movement in a matter of weeks . It is all a matter of how the ideas is presented . Presented the right way the followers will be there faster than you can imagine .

thats what i am trying to say hyldig, life is all about agreeing and disagreeing thats why us humans never reach an amicable decision :D

nothing is easy nowadays, someone will always have an issue with someone else or something.

lots of things in my own life have failed too, despite not losing hope and starting again several times,i have finally come to a stage and just have no energy left.
this is on a personal level as to speak,
it is hard to break an established chain i guess but not impossible....a solution to many things but not straightaway or without a struggle anyway.

as humans,we have destroyed, rebuilt, over and over again and this will continue, its the natural nature of man.

bouldrake honestly mate what you are saying makes sense and is right, but as it stands with the world right now, there is too much to be resolved,,alot of people have ideas and want to make a difference to their lives and for the lives of others, like you said in your previous post, progress is for a few and transgression for many...it isnt easy bringing about a revolution or changing something dramatically unless you got the backup and its that backup ,some people are all mouth, some are active, others too scared, some with little or no hope, society is diverse, its hard to pull together strings of different length.

hyldig wrote: Greed is the answer Pindo . Pure and simple . It was discussed here in the country if it was rentable to recycle newspapers and scrap electronic junk etc . The answer turned out to be yes . Those recycling stations we got employ a lot of people and run with a small profit . many of those recycling stations also contain second hand stores selling better end items that just was trown away due to they were not needed anymore to very cheap prices . It is just a matter of presenting the idea the right way . ;)

yes i agree totally my friend, greed is what really hinders progress, each to their own as it is nowadays...if everyone looked out for each other, their neighbour, the guy across the street then perhaps some decent progress could be made, mind you not an answer to all problems but as the saying goes the sea is made up of thousands of droplets of water,,sure would take years

That's ridiculous, of course you can. I hate to quote Steve Jobs because I really dislike him in more ways than I can even begin to express, but he was right about one thing: Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact: Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you and you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use.

well what i mean is as an individual theres little anyone can do unless they pool together, have protests n' the rest of it but you know all this has very little impact ,in the mood i am in right now with my CR issue, cant do jack s--t there either.

and yes i do whole heartedly agree with you there but comon theres so much to do,change, where do we start?

beyond science » Post #3

Sun May 14, 2017 20:41 in General Talk

i believe in miracles,,,if god wills it it will happen,no scientific explanation comes close.

especially with such instances of life,,,Jesus with the will of god bought back a dead son to life,,,explain that?
there is a super power beyond all super powers of this earth,be it Russia,America or planet X.

scientists believe more in theories which have yet to be proved, but seeing and believing in something extraordinary definitely makes the brain cells do overtime, alot of people cannot comprehend anything other than a scientific theory or explanation, which i guess is viable for some things but not all.

assumptions, can be made but they are not factual or something to be relied on 100%,,i would rather go more with my instincts and what is more or less the norm and belief of most people unless proven otherwise, than follow some text in a book,,thats all it is just text for which there is no concrete evidence to back it up.
in saying that dont get me wrong ,im talking more about scientific theories and such,,ie Darvins theory of evolution,,,see that? its just a theory nothing more.
i dont believe humans came from monkeys or primates,,if a christian was to believe this then this will totally wipe out the concept of Christianity,or any other religion for that matter.

its ok to have an open mind about things and think that anything is possible, even without an explanation.

hey if i am going off the topic here, opologies, its just that one thing leads to another and being one of those days today i kinda feel off track somehow

especially with my issue with CR and no tasks for 8 days.. :(
