yes i know growing up in the 80's was wonderful, lots of memories ,yes i loved xmas, everything about it,all the kiddies programs, jelly and ice-cream at school, etc etc, toys were cheaper then but at the time commensurate with earnings so seemed alot for some people at the time...
nowadays kids want iphones.latest gadgets and xboxes,,,the price of one back then could probably have bought the whole neighbourhood presents for xmas!

i remember getting knitting sets and crayons with colouring books :D

Another 2 Kittens killed by Street Dogs... » Post #4

yes i know its cruel but i think its the best way mate,,,,alot of wild dogs here get shot coz they kill peoples animals, like goats, baby cows ,chickens etc...authorities wont take responsibility coz in such countries in Asia there is no control over neutering them hence the growing number of animals roaming the streets and living of other smaller animals.

in 19th century England, unravelling mummies at dinner parties was a gruesome affair but enjoyed by many as a kind of entertainment.............poor bones, that guys must be freezing his boney hind off on top of that table!

yes i agree, some people get rid of them when they lose their cuteness as they get older,or any problems they have they will get rid of them.

i love animals, particularly cats, dogs, rabbits and birds,,,owls and ducks that is,,i wish i could keep one of each if i could afford it but i cant,i can just about manage a cat and she eats like a flippin horse!
catmonster is 100% right only get a pet if you really want to and can look after it well, after all it will part of your family and for the rest of its life,or yours :?

wombat its the things you cant read that are mysterious and secretive,,,a lot of companies have small print of terms and conditions and other crap that people cant be bothered to read therefore when something goes wrong, the companies point out that it says in its terms etc..........a sly tactic i would say...only whats big and noticable has an impact, small is frivolous,,,right marcel? :D

i loved your post on those boobs,,oops

reading all your comments made me think.......yes i do that once in a while,, would'nt it be gr8 if some of us members could actually meet up?
i know its very difficult for members of different countries to meet but a good starting point would be people from the same country,,same state/city?

everyone gets on so well here and its a pity that we just have to resort to messaging and posting ,meeting each other would really be the icing on the cake................hey clixsense hope you are listening, anything towards cheaper airfares? :D

make money » Post #11

Sun Nov 27, 2016 09:25 in General Talk

money is a must to live a normal, satisfactory life,in that you have all the basics to keep you going, then you got the desire and yearn for things you would like to have, the'inordinate desire', things you want but don't need...........this can be over whelming for many people..

once you pass that stage your ego gets the better of you and you want more and more..that's where greed comes in.

i am not rich,i would say i could be better, but i am content more or less,i have a roof over my head, clothes over my body, food in my belly and something to cuddle up to at night ;) i cant afford a water bottle :D

some people are never satisfied and then there are those that strive to make ends meet..really we should appreciate what we have and spend that hard earnt cash oh so very wisely,,,spend as much time as you can with your loved ones coz that's one thing that is limited and will never come again.

regret is one thing ,a bank balance is another
