i was born in Nottingham in England and grew up in Oxford, then in 2004 went to work in Pakistan as part of joint venture between a charity here and a NGO in Pakistan,i met my hubby there and eventually settled there but i do travel back to the UK several times a year to see my family and friends ,i have never lost touch....

really i do love the UK but i love my hubby more :D

i did take him back there but he doesn't like it so here we r again back together in the scorching heat

mind i hate travelling too much,,even tho i have been on a plane so many times and i should have got used to it by now i am still petrified of flying :o :(

bouldrake i had to read twice what you wrote coz it didnt sink in first time, kinda pretty hard to grasp
but finally i understood what you wrote.
the only creature on earth clever enough to create a simulation would be man himself as he is always reaching for the stars, trying to excel in whatever he can, which i guess is natural and part of the human nature after all.

i dont think we can ever take this subject seriously because its just a thought and nothing has been proved.

of course all the cleverclogs can put forward as much facts and info as they want but bottom line is apart from an interesting read it will bear no fruit and eventually the whole idea of it will dwindle away and forgotten.

i understand what your saying tasman but one thing which humans have failed to replicate and that is emotions,,,,instinctual responses,,,,all those 5 senses we take for granted and are born with cannot be replicated.

Your way of thinking or the thinking of those scientists and such like is very intriguing and leaves alot to be given thought to but us humans from the beginning of time are so wrapped up in our own ideology of our existence that taking it to a totally new dimension would be absolutely crazy.

The christian, jewish and islamic doctrine is of one god,who created adam and eve,who started the human race.
hell and heaven is part of our belief,no one has ever contemplated anything other than this being the basis of how we came to exist, unless of course your belief lies elsewhere,ie the evolution theory, mind you its still a theory unless proven and other man-made religions or pathetic beliefs.

i think this is absurd,,,,,,,,,,,,why? i tell you why....
now assuming we are all living in a virtual world,in a cocoon say,all controlled by robots or aliens, this means that the existence of the creator ,GOD is non existent,,,,,,,,,,,,,,no religion no belief no nothing.....

ok if i were to believe this theory or an assumption or absurdity to some degree then who created these robots that are controlling us? must be a bigger force than them thats behind it all ?

now humans as we know are flesh and blood,we are living breathing entities,,we reproduce, grow old and die, dust to dust,if these robots are controlling us i am sure they can extend our life to the next level?

tasman,,i told you get off that red wine yesterday :D

Phone call of increased value » Post #2

Sat Nov 12, 2016 08:02 in General Talk

as far as i know it happens all over the world, except in the antartic and the himalayas :D

you know each time someone rings a percentage of that call goes to the people organizing the contest ,then it goes back to one lucky winner as a prize.

nothing goes out of the organizers pockets,,,the prizes are all paid for by the viewing public and a nice profit to be made for themselves also,,and to get the ratings up for their shows.

none of the public know how many of them actually ring in,could be thousands or even hundreds of thousands of people,,each paying a euro in phone charges to try and win a citroen dolly that aint worth more than $8,000
just imagine all the profit on those calls?

trust me these are clever and sly tactics used for many years to make quick bucks and fools of the public.

i'm new to clixsense and need clarification. » Post #3

hi olympiady,,,,nice to see you :D

clixsense is a maze, loads of things to do here.....when i started i just clicked ptc ads and played clixgrid now and again.

There is too much to take in on your first day,,so just browse at your leisure,do a couple of offers/tasks a day until you get a feel for the site.

Admin is here to help and the clixsy community always eager to lend a hand.

i dont personally have any refs,,actually tell a lie i did but hes inactive now so not worth really mentioning......infact you dont need refs to earn here, tho they do help, not important.
i rely on myself,,its guaranteed :D

i make 99.9% of my earnings from tasks so there you go,get your teef into that one for now

hope something out of my brief nonsense has helped you

some short quickies

Adult fireflies don’t eat.

Emus can’t walk backwards.

Squirrels can’t burp.

Crabs have teeth in their stomach.

Sharks lose a tooth a week.

Only half a dolphin brain falls asleep at a time.

Jellyfish have no heart.

The two animals that can see behind itself without turning its head are the rabbit and the parrot.

even pakistan is a developing nation i think but lots of rich ppl here but more poor folk..............

75% of the population live in rural areas engaged in farming which feeds the people of the cities.

technology seems to reach late here and other poor countries and usually when it does ,the developed world are probably a 100 odd years ahead
