That's the track through which I got acquainted with the group and their music, and still is my fav. of them.
Thank you for bringing it back; I had thought to post it here earlier, but maybe somehow forgot it.

You're very welcome; yeah, it's a wonderful song, one of my favs. too.

Good to know that. :) I'm just ok.

Thanks! I'm not sure how to take that "just", but I'm glad you're ok. :)

And of course... one of the greatest themes to describe lack of affection. Or maybe not?

You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness...

One of the best live performances I've ever seen. The beats go up, the magic rises slowly and gets everyone involved... that's one of the most astonishing powers of MUSIC: to join people together with something greater than themselves.

We can't fall any further if
We can't feel ordinary love
And we can't reach any higher,
If we can't deal with ordinary love

U2 - Ordinary Love (Live on The Tonight Show)

Friends can help each other. A true friend is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself - and especially to feel. Or, not feel. Whatever you happen to be feeling at the moment is fine with them. That's what real love amounts to - letting a person be what he really is.

That quote by Thoreau is not how life should be lived. He should know that when we seek our comfort above all else, we tend to neglect other people's welfare.

I don't think there is a "right" way to live one's life at all... and I believe that if you seek your own happiness and get to feel good with yourself in the first place, then you'll be trully ready to offer the best help possible to others. That is, you deserve as much comfort and happiness as anyone else does.

Cheers!
