Rental » Post #3

Tue May 24, 2016 09:25 in General Talk

I suppose you are asking how to rent referrals (not reference) on this site.
Unfortunately (or fortunately?), there is no way to rent referrals on Clixsense.
Just a piece of advice, I have tried the rented referrals thing on other bux sites, and it did not work out well for me. I wouldn't necessarily say rented referrals are bots, but it is definitely not as easy as you may think.

If you really want to invest, I suggest investing in Clixsense premium membership, for only $17/year, and it is definitely worth the money, especially for the additional 9% daily checklist bonus, and the premium only ads you will get.

Hope this helps.

Does it happen on all browsers or only on chrome?

If it happens only on one browser, perhaps a simple reinstall will help.

Please Help regarding paypal » Post #3

Sat May 07, 2016 02:04 in General Talk

If I were you, I will change my Paypal's password immediately.
I would not click any of the links in that e-mail.
According to what I know(I maybe wrong):

1. Paypal will only limit your account if you are involved in suspicious activities.
2. Why would paypal limit your ability to receive payments but not making payments? If the money in your account is illegal you should not be able to spend it.
3. Paypal will not ask you to do some stupid so called tasks to lift the limit of your account. Here , Paypal will ask you to go to RESOLUTION CENTER to find information regarding account limitations, not some ridiculous tasks.
4. When Paypal sends you an email, the domain for the email address is always paypal.com (eg: xx@paypal.com), not @paypal99.com / @paypalreal.com
5. Even though most email service providers have very good fraud detector built-in, scam emails will still be everywhere.

Again, I maybe wrong, but this looks like a total scam, unless when you log in to your Paypal it says your account is really limited, then I will re-examine the credibility of the e-mail.

One more thing, if the email is a real scam, forward the whole email to spoof@paypal.com to notify paypal.

Hope this helps.

facebook account hacked. email compromised? » Post #15

Fri May 06, 2016 01:47 in General Talk

The easier way is to use google chrome's built in translator and translate the whole page then choose settings.
OR
facebook language tab
On the right side of the page, the first section, click on it. There should be a list of language for you to choose. A link has been attached for your convenience.
OR
Using the same link, scroll down to the bottom of the page. You will see Facebook (c) 2016. Below it is the language you are currently using. Click on it to select the language you want.

Good luck.

facebook account hacked. email compromised? » Post #13

Thu May 05, 2016 22:01 in General Talk

First, don't panic. I didn't know the exact situation, but hopefully the steps below can help:

1. The hacker cannot do anything to your facebook if he logged in from a different country (If he really managed to login), but it seems he changed your password?
2. The hacker got your number. But he didn't get your phone. You can
a) Reset your facebook password through your phone.
b) Reset your facebook password through Email.
3. Getting your Facebook account back is top priority.
4. Link your phone number to your other accounts for double verification security.
5. Scan your PC with malwarebytes/ other good antivirus for possible keyloggers.

It is near impossible to hack Facebook, so you need to think carefully:
1) Are you using a public computer or public Wifi? Public computer may have keylogger installed.
2) Did you download something recently? It can be possible that a keylogger came with that program.
3) Use the same password for some other unknown sites? Hackers sometimes use your login details to try to login to your email/facebook.

Anyway, you should reset your password immediately. It is possible to do so unless the hacker gained access to your email, phone and complete identity.

Good luck, and hope this helps.

Yes, but not the big ones. Mainly because I am too lazy to make the 60 clicks everyday (30 for standard members). I only click 20 times a day.

how can i see how many clixcent i got..? » Post #3

Thu Apr 28, 2016 08:08 in General Talk

The term Clixcents is usually used in offers.
1 Clixcent=1 cent in your account balance.
So if you have completed your offer and your account balance doesn't change, then chances are the offer you have done has not credited you (pending), or doesn't credit you.

Hope this solves your problems.

Before explaining how this site works, you need to know what this site is not:

1. Clixsense is not another scam site or bux site where you have to invest money to "rent" referrals to "earn" money for you. You can only promote your affiliate link to get direct referrals.
2. Clixsense is not some invest-your-money-then-sit-and-wait site. There is no such thing as free money.
3. Clixsense should not be your main source of income, it should be treated as an extra income earning site, so don't expect to earn thousands here every month, even though I believe some people can.

Clixsense is:

1. A money making website that requires time, effort and determination.
2. A site where there are only 2 types of membership, free and premium. Premium membership is optional and costs $17 per year, where I recommend members from tier-1 countries to upgrade from their earning balance once they have the money. But nobody will force you to get premium. It is up to you.
3. A long standing non-scam site that pays, but you need to understand that Clixsense does not use instant payments, so to cash out you may need to wait a while. So do read through the forum to understand how Clixsense works.

There are basically 6 ways of earning:
1. [Consistent for members from US/UK/Canada] - Offers & surveys. There are a lot of offer walls on Clixsense, and I believe you will have tons of them since you are from USA. Eg: Watch video, download apps, sign up.
2. [Consistent for members with at least Level 1 in Crowdflower] - Tasks. Mini jobs are available in Clixsense through Crowdflower, where you will work on different tasks like receipt transcription, image moderation etc.
3. [Depends on countries] - Ads. Clixsense has a very strong Geo-targeting for ad view, but don't worry since you are from USA. Ads vary from $0.001 to $0.02, but members from Tier-1 countries tend to get more ads.
4. [Depends on luck] - Clixgrid. Click everyday and maybe you will get lucky and win up to $10.
5. [Depends on your advertising effectiveness] - Direct referrals. Nothing much to say here, you earn commission from referral activities. The more the better, but keeping your referrals active is the key.
6. [Depends on your determination and work available] -Checklist bonus. By completing the checklist bonus you can earn another up to 16% of your daily earnings. Yes, another 16% for nothing. But as a standard member you can only have a maximum of 7% in your daily checklist bonus. This is one of the main reasons you should consider upgrading.

Now to answer your question directly, or the short version:
If you are expecting to get rich on this site, then this is not the site for you. You have to work hard. If you do not qualify for one survey, try another. Don't give up. Keep trying until you get one. I think you should have lots of surveys everyday.
Set a target for yourself, like earning at least $2 a day here, whilst completing the daily checklist.
Find motivation by going to the success stories or payment proof sub forum. Or just look at my stats.

Hope this helps.

starting tips on newbies? » Post #4

First, something to clarify:
valerie wrote:

In my opinion, upgrading is a very good idea IF you are going to work. If you
focus on completing your daily check list bonus every day, that alone will help
you make more money than what you make as a standard member.

This is true only if you have lots of offers everyday. A lot of the members want to work, but the problem is there aren't enough work to do...
I am not sure about Philippines, but you should take a look on your offer walls and see if there lots of offers that suit you.

Quote:Fast way is to find a crowdflower's channel ( not big ones ) that has Entrance Exam & do it to get your level 1 badge in no time & after that come back here to do lot of tasks.

True, but I am not sure if he can still access the entrance exam once he signed up for Crowdflower tasks under Clixsense. Just keep in mind that you are not allowed to create more than 1 account on Clixsense or Crowdflower.

Now, just my 2 cents:

When people asked about upgrading, I will say don't upgrade until you have accumulated $17 in your account. Because if you can't earn $17, it means:
1. You are not determined enough to earn on Clixsense, and/or
2. There aren't enough offers/tasks/earning sources for you to make money.

In the past month, were you able to complete the daily checklist everyday/ most of the days?
If so, how much money were you able to get from the checklist bonus? Can you benefit from the additional 9% bonus when you upgrade to premium?

You see, by upgrading to premium you get at least 4 standard 1 cent ad everyday.
A simple calculation:
0.04*365= 14.60
By being active EVERYDAY, you only need an additional $2.40 before you can start getting profit. If you can compensate the $2.40 from your additional 9% bonus, upgrading is actually free, isn't it?

The problem is, are you able to complete the checklist bonus everyday or get active referrals?

In my country, you won't be flooded with tons of offers and surveys everyday, so the only way to make a significant amount of money is by doing tasks.

What you should do right now: Find whatever sites that offer CrowdFlower entrance exam and sign up there. Use the same Crowdflower account. See if you can still access the entrance exam or not. If yes, then go get your level 1 ASAP. If not, then check everyday here for level 0 tasks and do them to get your level 1 as fast as possible.

I started here in the same month as you, but with determination nothing is impossible. And if you ask how I am able to get so many tasks, it is because I have worked on other channel for a long time before coming to Clixsense. So I already know what to do when I got here.

Sorry for my bad English and hope this helps.

About withdraw » Post #4

Quite hard to understand what you are asking exactly. But I will try to answer.

misammehe wrote: How can I withdraw from forum posting dollar?

1. You won't earn money by posting on this forum.
2. You cannot withdraw any money from the forum section, there is no cashout button here.
3. What is forum posting dollar?

misammehe wrote:
can i withdraw dollar any neteller account?

1. Yes, neteller is an option. But I recommend paypal because it is faster.
2. Yes, you can withdraw to any Neteller account of yours.
3. You cannot withdraw "any dollar" from clixsense until you have reached $8 in your account. The minimum cashout threshold is $8 for standard (free) members and $6 for premium members.

Hope this helps.

Good luck with that. Haven't got any referrals using this method (yet). Guess most people who joined traffic exchange are already using Clixsense. Or perhaps there are just too many people promoting their links.

Which is the best laptop to buy » Post #4

Mon Mar 21, 2016 09:59 in General Talk

Everybody has different opinions on the question "What is a good laptop?" You see, some people want to buy laptop for gaming (which I don't recommend), some people want to buy a laptop for office work while some just buy one to watch youtube etc.

Quote:good Operating system

Again, depends on what you do. Microsoft Windows is of course the most popular operating system, suitable for home and office use. Some people prefer Mac, while some just like linux. Here is what I will say about each popular operating system:

1. Microsoft Windows:
Pros: Compatible with almost every application and driver. A lot of applications only run on Windows, but as a matter of fact more and more applications are now available on most platforms. Even though certain programs do not run well on Windows 10, it is certain that bugs will be fixed ASAP because of its massive amount of users.
Cons: Viruses. Very often targeted. But frankly as long as you are careful and have an antivirus you will be safe.
2. Linux Distros:
Pros: Free. Yes there is no such thing as pirated Linux because it is open source, which also means you can download, install and even modify it at no cost. You are not likely to get a virus as frequent as you will on Microsoft Windows. Also, there are certain applications that will only run on linux, for example, penetrating tools like Backtrack (Now kali). Has a terminal which works like commandline in Windows but with more function. You can basically do everything in Linux with just the terminal.
Cons: A lot of applications are incompatible although you can use Wine to run some Windows applications.
3. Mac:
Pros: Almost no viruses. And some people obviously like Mac's interface more than Windows'. But it is just a personal preference
Cons: Costly. It only runs on Apple hardware which means that you won't see Mac running on Hp or Dell. Faces some compatibility issues too.

Quote:all features
What do you mean by all features? Some laptop manufacturers install a lot of so called features which I would consider bloatware and uninstall them. By default however, most laptops will automatically come with:
Commonly used software:
1. A video and music player
2. Word Editor
3. Internet Browser
4. File Explorer
Anyway you don't need to worry much about software, you can always download them if needed.
And I believe that most laptops today will come with Wi-fi capability, USB ports, built-in speakers, built-in microphones and Bluetooth feature. Below are somethings you should really consider before choosing a laptop:

1. The resolution and size of the screen
2. Touch screen or no touch screen
3. CPU, GPU, RAM, Operating system
4. The weight of the laptop (easy to carry but for some it just doesn't matter)
5. The bloatware that comes with it
6. CD-ROM/DVD-ROM (Some smaller laptops do not have them)
... and many others

Quote:durability

Good question. If you really want to go with durability, go with Apple. They seldom breakdown (unless you throw them out of a window). But hey, that comes with a price. I would say that other laptop brands don't really differ much as long as you buy from a reputable seller. But if you really want to ask the most durable brand, I would give the durability rank below:
1. Apple
2. Asus
3. Toshiba
4. Lenovo
The most important thing is that you need to take good care of your laptop. Don't use it on your lap, don't browse untrusted websites and download risky files, don't overheat it, use a good antivirus, the list goes on.

What I have typed is just a tip of the iceberg. Really, there are just too much things to consider. So after deciding on the OS, screen resolution, processor, features, etc, you can just google and see which laptop suits you best.

My answer: I just can't give a random laptop without knowing what you want exactly.

Hope this helps.

Question regarding cashout » Post #1

Mon Feb 29, 2016 07:42 in General Talk

Hello everybody, I am a new user of Clixsense. I have reached the cashout threshold a few days ago and have some problems regarding cashout.

Since Clixsense prohibits more than 1 account per household, is it okay if I periodically change my cashout address (Paypal) to someone else's in my family? Or must the Paypal account linked have the exact same name as in my profile?

Sorry if this is a stupid question.
