@ tasman1,
FaceBook keeps that (and ALL other info)
So if FaceBook was breached, one can almost assume so...
FaceBook and Google are accused of key logging. (More info to come, watch the news in the next couple of days.)
If you write a post on FB, then decide to delete it
and not send, They keep what you wrote and store it...
FaceBook and Google have HUGE Data Centers and can afford to keep all of that data...
Most companies can not.
Ever log into FaceBook with an old password?
They tell you - "Woops, Looks like you used an old password, try again."
Now (as far as we are concerned),
These days passwords are encrypted.
And if done right, the general answer is no.
If you trust the site owner/developer.
The way I see it,
If someone means to do harm, they will.
Greed is a powerful emotion...
However, is the outcome worth it?
I can spend weeks/months trying to break
into an account.
But, there better be something in there to be
worth my time...
Simplified:: you are 99.98% safe.
Never change a password from a link in an email...
If I receive an email "Time to maintain your account",
I always log into the account directly.
Don't follow the link in an email when concerning an account.
